NEW THEORY TIME! I know this is probably getting to be a little far fetched, but I’m desperately clinging on…
I don't think it will happen personally but honestly due to episode 8 i'm rooting for Qing Feng so much, I love his character and he is so caring towards Xiao En! But Xiao En has really strong feelings for Tian Xing (Si Tu Ao Ran) due to how much he 'Helped' her emotionally due to watching his speeches, etc, I don't think she will lose her feelings that quickly for him (Even though Si Tu Ao Ran has a completely different personality she has still built new feelings for him due to her experiences with him). Also Si Tu Ao Ran seems to have now lost feelings for ChuChu but he refuses to admit it, making the romance between him and Xiao En much slower (And maybe making Xiao En look in Qing Fengs direction and perhaps gain feelings for him in the comic world), but once Si Tu Ao Ran admits his feelings Xiao En will most likely only look in his direction. Despite thinking this I really hope Qing Feng has a happy ending, he's honestly such a sweet character. But I want to add that when ever he seems to be caring or show affection towards Xiao En his character seems to start to burn? I think that this might be similar to be what happened in the Korean drama W, as the characters start to go against the plot they lose their purpose and may begin to disappear.
i love this drama so much and now i am looking for something similar to this kind of plot. Can anyone suggest…
You may want to try these dramas (I'll also explain them a bit):
- Love and Destiny - Historical Chinese drama, also Master/disciple relationship . ML and the FL had a misunderstanding leading the FL to commit suicide. Later she was reincarnated into a mortal, he then goes to the mortal realm to find her (Because he loves her)and they fall in love (There is more to the story than this but it I quite liked it, the drama has mystery, romance and action). - Moonshine and Valentine - ML and FL were in an arranged marriage at a young age, the FL dies to give the ML his sight back (ML's family did this against ML's will), her soul then had a curse placed on it making her get reincarnated every 800 years to which the ML (Who btw is not human) finds her every 800 years with the help of his two good friends, but this time things were a bit different... -The Legends - (Historical )FL is a smart and powerful woman, she dies and gets reincarnated, she slowly falls for someone who she had a big misunderstanding with before dying (Again =, there is a lot more to the story than romance :)) - Abyss- ML was 'ugly' and the FL was 'really pretty', they both died and the Abyss was used to reincarnate them into their true bodies (Ugly=Pretty/Handsome. Pretty=Ugly), they use their new bodies to solve crimes.
These are my personal favorites but if they are not to your taste you can look on the 'Reincarnated' or 'Reincarnated lovers' themes/tags here on MDL for others (There are quite a lot) :)
This drama is definitely low budget and the plot seems a bit all over the place honestly but i'm currently on episode 9 and i'm actually really enjoying the story so far, we finally have another historical drama that has a warm ML who is strong and quite smart! :) I have been enjoying Zhao Yi Qin's dramas a lot recently, he definitely has potential (And not to mention, he is also very handsome!). I have seen below that a lot of people have been dropping this drama at episode 1, I can understand why but if you can look past the Qing Dynasty haircuts (I personally don't mind them but most people don like it aha) this story may be quite enjoyable to you :). I would say that this story is more mystery and revenge based with only a small amount of romance (Not much has happened with the main couple yet but they have clear feelings for each other). Give this drama a try if the plot interests you! You may be like me an end up enjoying this story :)

I also didn't like this style at first but I have gotten used to it after watching The Story of Yanxi Palace which is now one of my favorite dramas. I can still see the handsomeness of the male characters despite their half-shaved heads lol. I have a huge passion for Chinese history and culture which probably makes it easier to bare, I think that history lovers (People interested in ancient Chinese culture, clothing, etiquette, laws etc) will love this type of drama more than people who just watch dramas for entertainment (I mean no offence to anyone, I'm just stating what I think because people don't often like Qing Dynasty style)
I love him and his acting, he stood out to me while watching The Song of Glory due to his adorable acting as Shen Feng, I hope to see him in more dramas in the future! :)
