I would recommend, Love Of Thousand years (this is historical though), Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo and The Flame's daughter(also historical). They aren't really similar in terms of plots in anyway, but ML's knew the FL from the past and the ML's are seen as smart people and are looked up upon (except in Weightlighting Fairy Kim Bok Joo). The ML's know quite a lot about the FL, things other people don't know, due to this, it allowed them to get closer and eventually fall in love, he sacrifices a lot for her but she does too. The FL is seen as a nice person and a lot of people like her but sometimes she can get herself into bad situations. The romance is quite similar to that of Halen and PiPi in these dramas in my opinion :)
No no, it just means they have a sweet romance, even though the show has romance, it also equally concentrates on other aspects of the plot. This drama had a good amount of kissing scenes between them :)

I also avoid watching tragedies, but even once I found out about the tragic ending I couldn't stop watching the drama. People will definitely miss out if they don't watch it. But the ending isn't entirely sad, I would also see it as bittersweet. Wei Young was struggling to be respected and get happiness throughout the story but meeting Touba Jun allowed her to be happy, even if it was only for a few years. Even though Touba Jun died, she could live with their child and try and the peace that Touba Jun was trying to get throughout the story :)

I watched the WHOLE drama without knowing it had a sad ending, I cried so much :( Even though the ending was unexpectedly sad I loved it. The chemistry was great and I loved the plot. I'll definitely be rewatching it :)
Some people see the ending as sad but I would say its more bittersweet. One of them does die though, but they did this so the drama would be historically accurate with Tuoba Jun.
I've been stuck on episode 4 for the last couple of months. I'm not liking the drama but I intend to finish it…
Eternal love was my second historical drama, I didn't quite like it at first but as the story goes on a lot happens, new characters get introduced and there is much more romance. I really think you should carry on watching, as soon as the two meet in the mortal realm I think the story get much more interesting. Not only is a lot more romance introduced but there is much more action.
I suppose i'm the only one here who actually wants her to end up with Sun Oh? After reading what some other people think, I do understand where you're all coming from. I think its just that i've seen her with Sun Oh so much that i've come to the point where i'm absolutely in love with their relationship. but after reading the end of the webtoon, I suppose she wont end up with him anyway lmao. If season 2 allows me to see more chemistry between JoJo and Hye Young, I might be able to see them together. But at the moment I really can't, JoJo has never looked at Hye Young in that way tbh.

It seems that with season 1 they changed a few parts of the webtoon when creating the drama, this may mean that the ending may also change but I think there is a very low chance of that happening.

It's coming out on August 22nd, all 8 episodes are going to be released on that day. They also did this with the first season ( I watched all the episodes as soon as it aired on Netflix)
