Fighting against fate! Enjoyable, emotional, and exciting: the triple E's!

An anti-hero female lead fights against her fate as the "villain" in someone else's love story. It's full of twists, it commits to some dark subjects and themes, and female lead is stubborn and cunning. She really does a lot to manipulate the male lead, but fortunately, the male lead is smart enough to eventually catch on. It makes their dynamic very interesting. Truly, this is a short drama that made me feel emotions, made me tear up, and had me excited for the next episode.

Daisy solidifies herself as THEE short drama queen in an angsty romance. If you've seen her in Provoke and previous dramas, you'll know she does well in playing both the innocent and the vicious. Her tears make me teary as well.

Unfortunately, the male lead here is a little overshadowed by her. And, with his baby face, it took some time to get used to him in the character of a general. But, I would say about eight episodes in, I was invested, and I enjoyed his character. He wasn't a bland, morally upright person. He could be vicious too, so that was fun.

Overall, I recommend if you are a fan of Daisy Li (the female lead) and a fan of characters who fight against their fates (so anyone who enjoys webcomics, perhaps?). This is a fun, wild ride worth your time. But be warned that there are dark scenes like attemped r*pe.
