I completely forgot about this drama, but zheng yecheng was recently in a short drama which reminded me to check on his upcoming dramas! I really wish him with more successful projects. He's been struck with a bit of bad luck--several of his dramas that finished filming long ago haven't aired...I miss him and can't wait to see him in this (with the beautiful peng xiaoran!!)

Give this man more long dramas with romance! This man knows how to create scenes. I hope he will continue to create great dramas.

After "Blossom" and "Pursuit of Jade," I know this director won't let me down. I'm so grateful he's getting to do long dramas! I can't wait for this drama. And this cast should be fun!

Zheng yecheng!!!! I have missed him on my screen. So glad to see the drama is doing well (based on the comments below) though I am deeply sad that it is on Mangotv. Because of that, it won't have great subs unless a fan group takes up the project. Fortunately, it's like 90% understandable at least so I can follow it well enough.

I am very surprised by Zhao Qing, she's very effortlessly adorable. I didn't think anyone could match zheng yecheng after he acted with Hu Yixuan in My Sleepless Princess, but I was wrong. Love their chemistry!

Excited for this! Can't believe it's been so long since I've seen the team. Praying the writing will still be as good as the first season!

Debating on whether to start this on now. It's hard for me to watch dramas where sisters fight. Do they fight the entire show? Or do some of them change and join the female lead's side? I'm okay with some of the fighting if it leads to growth, but if they're just still fighting and scheming against each other the entire time, it gets tiring really fast. *No major spoilers in case I do watch this.*

I hope he'll receive more main roles in the future! I loved him in The Unclouded Soul and he was very memorable in Yin-Yang Master.

SHE is the moment. After watching her in both When Destiny Brings the Demon and Yummy Yummy Yummy, she's quickly become one of my favorites. I'm sorry to see in the below comment that she will take a break next year. Happy she will rest, but a bit sad we won't be seeing some of her dramas. Looking forward to her return in the future!

This drama brought me back to MDL after like 5 months of inactivity. This drama made me laugh and full of good, happy feels. It made me fall in love with Li Yunrui even more after Blossom and Wang Yinglu after When Destiny Brings the Demon. One of my favorites of this year.

Still enjoying this drama, but the plot has really slowed down in ep 15 😅

It's focusing a little too much on the comedy and not addressing some of the more serious plot threads. I miss Baicha and hope he's okay.

It was re-shot! All of the scenes that had Hu Yixuan in it was re-filmed.

Folks are blaming hongning for her actions in ep.11...did you all not see the empress right THERE, doing suspicious things?? She messed with the tribulation and also purposely informed jinxiu about hongning being in danger...it's all part of her plan.

I thought it was clear that the empress got involved? That she purposely made thr tribulation harder?

So happy to see so many people warming up to this drama 🥹 especially with Hu Yixuan as the female lead. I was nervous that she would be attacked for taking the role over the original actress, but she is doing a good job so far, making viewers gradually accept her. She's always been a cutie and fits this role very well 🥹
