Oh God.. They were so lovely and I am giggling and kicking my feet every time they make out and do their spiccccyyy scenes but oh boy.. That one specific episode made me feel like I was violated. Why did that suddenly take a turn as some psychotic obsessed behavior?
I need some spoilers... Who does she end up with? And for the rest of these boys, who do they end up with? Not gonna start first until i know who ends up with who. hahaaha
Okay, now that I am done with this drama.. Let me share my thoughts..
For chinese dramas, I find 40 EPs too long.. I can only watch a few costume dramas that are about 40 episodes (or more) long as long as it kept me engaged all throughout and I can really say this was one of those dramas. The advantage for me supposedly is knowing I watched this (just 3 days ago btw), when it was all fully aired so I can always skip scenes I didnt like or characters I feel like I am not going to spend a few minutes watching on screen but damnn. This drama MADE ME NOT SKIP any scene at all. And I never ever do that. I usually watch interesting chinese costume dramas while it's still airing to keep up with their 2 episode a day pacing and sometimes, I skip episodes because they tend to feel draggy and this has not made me feel like that at all so I am glad I never skipped any scenes!
I kept postponing watching this back then because I thought I might not like it and I hate wasting my time and then regret wasting my time afterwards... But this time, I really fell inlove with both Bai Lu and Ao Rui Peng. Not actually just them but to all of the characters here (except for that Lanling sect leader and Zhen Yu).
So kudos for making this girl (with ADHD) stick to this drama til the end. LOL.
I am so happy I watched this while I was taking a few days off at work so I watched it peacefully while at the same time pigging out on foods each day. LMAO.
Man.. I understand Xing Yue.. I do.. but it's soo painful to see Jing Yuan being heartbroken.. :((
nauurrrrrr... I'm so sad seeing Jing Yuan calling Bai Shou as Xing Tue and Bai Shou calling him Fan Yue when she woke up..
also sad to see him leave but then again, this show is different and made sure to highlight despite "reincarnations" these people do not share the same experiences and memories with their deity past selves. and I really think it's such a wonderful approach to this drama.
Man.. they really kinda have such a bad fate.. All 4 of them. Like literally. I'm on EP 33 now and I just cant help but love the 2nd CP. Too bad one's going to end up evil and the other one is a tool to end the evilness. It's tragic but I love it.
Lmfao I've no idea how you felt that they have pride/ego. Like seriously how?! He's just trying to protect her.…
it does felt like they're misunderstanding things because they keep wanting to save each other and nobody's backing down. they purposely "annoy" each other but deep down, they really like each other so that's where I'm at now..
as for the 2nd cp, I'll definitely look forward in their part developing.
I hope someone can reply to me here but I have 2 questions.
1. do the leads even trust each other? feels like they have a lot of misunderstandings and their pride/ego just won't let them resolve things. I'm currently on EP17.
2. I saw some spoilers before but when will the 2nd leads start dating or atleast when will 2ML start to feel something for the 2FL??
As a man, if I was perusing a girl I liked I’d want to make things clear. All be it the sexual tension does…
that's what gets me frustrated after watching the recent EPs. I feel like they could've just moved right away with the status after saying they liked each other. Because at the moment, I just see them in a situationship rather than a relationship with "being serious about this" in the ML's mind (and intention).. they seem to be just really casual about the whole relationship which doesn't even look like a relationship yet..
coz it does frustrate me after watching the preview for next week's EP when she said they weren't in some sort of relationship YET.
I still am wrapping my head around their "status" because maybe it's just a cultural thing for me but usually, when you say "dating" it automatically means you're girlfriend and boyfriend. like you have that label but with them, like this whole set up they have right now that "I won't date you until XX day" but both of them are acting like they're already a couple, confuses the heck out of me..
don't get me wrong, I still really love this show but the whole complexity of relationship is making me crash out. LIKE JUST GET THE LABEL AND KISS. DAMN IT. 😂😂😂😭😭😭
I would never act like that Inlove to someone who's not naming whatever relationship we have into GF-BF.
I'm into EP 38 now and I know the ending of this based on spoilers (which I really am thankful to know). but I just can't believe I waited for this for months (since I got to know the existence of this drama) and now that I'm down to the last 2 EPs, I feel like I can't say goodbye to the characters I loved so much. from the 1st time I ever saw the trailer with that scene of XRR telling SYS to kneel, I thought, this drama looks interesting based off the quality I am seeing in that teaser. I can't believe I'll love it even more now that I'm almost done. thank you to the actors who brought this drama to life. 😭😭❤️❤️
SYS's disciples 😂😂😂😭😭😭😭 they're so funny please.. poor them. they really have to deal with this SYS 😭😭 even got them harsh remarks coz of their cooking skills. 😭😭😭 I can't with that man. LMAO. he's so sassy
I need to slap Wei Jiu. this cutie surely knows how to be funny and annoying at the same time. 😂😂😂 I love that he's now a 3rd lover of XRR but at the same time, bro is soooooo unaware of someone's feelings to him. BRO WAKE UP. 😭😭
I still didn’t get an answer yet so I thought I ask again. At episode 1 they are showing 18 years ago but when…
I recall calculating the time coz there was somewhat a 3 year gap somewhere. I just can't recall which episode this was presented. in the present time as well, there's been a year and a half more of the time fast forwarded so there really was a 3 year gap as well somewhere which brings it to 21 or 22 years ago
I feel like I regret watching this which I really did start watching from the moment it was released. and now I keep wanting to see more but I have to wait for days/weeks for this to finish. 😂😭 in the meantime, does anyone have suggestions of dramas they currently watch? I'm such a huge fan of this genre and most of the recommendations in here, I've also seen (except the unaired ones yet) so I'm not sure which dramas to watch further to kill time while waiting for the next episodes of this series. 😭😭😭
