it scares me because this show is 14 episodes long. so they still have 10 episodes to explore on this. I'm guessing 2 episodes for him to do the chasing since Seori will have to play hard to get in order to avoid being used coz as well know, we've seen the scene of Seori and Mundo talking about how she should be close to Segye. I feel like she doesn't want to be close to Segye so nobody can use her against him hence her playing hard to get..

now if we go with that theory, there's still going to be 8 episodes more. so I wonder how they'll tackle this. 😂😂

anyway, I want more Segye being a loser in love scenes. ahahahahha

man... I knew he was already a lost cause but EP4 Solidified the pathetic loser In love trait in him. it's sooo funny. 😭😭😭

anyway, I'm kinda scared because it's too early for them to mention their feelings but at the same time, since we had a bit of feeling confirmation, previews suggest he'll be chasing her and she will be avoiding him for a long time. Because she might not want to repeat what happened in her life before.

She doesn't want to be used to target someone and I think it'll drive Segye crazy..lol. I can't wait for the next EPs.

this show has single handedly brought me back to kdramas again after my last kdrama (alchemy of souls) 😭😭

I didn't think a group of usually VILLAIN typecasted actors/actresses act in this kind of show would become such a highlight of my year. LOL. and can I just say, after watching EP3, the male lead is such a loser in love. 😂😂😂😂 especially in that part where they were voting for their brand representative and he was all smiley when Seori is being mentioned as compared to the famous actress. 😂😂😂😂😭😭😭

I feel the second hand embarrassment on some of Hyo Seop's scenes (especially the imagination ones) but anyway, I'm liking this show so far.

I'd like to also think that putting Kim Bum as a SML is a wrong choice. Yes, he's really eye candy and good with in his character but I don't see any chemistry at all with the FL. It's like I see him as a playful friend and not a potential lover for the FL.

Also, I'm kinda pissed off at the mom reminding her daughter about what happened years back.. She's your daughter. despite everything that happened, she should've forgotten everything and moved on and lived a different life since she looks like she can afford to do it anyway.

I'm just mad that she has to constantly blame the FL about what happened and always reminded her of that.. Like oh my gosh.. I felt hurt when she told told the FL that she (FL) was desperate to debut.. I swear, I hate moms who feel like they need to compete with their daughters. SHE WAS YOUR CHILD YOU KEPT HIDDEN BECAUSE OF YOUR FUCKING CAREER

I felt sorry for Jiang Cheng but at the same time, Zhou Jin deserves better. I know he's committed to his profession and to the case but the moment he decided to get involved in it to become someone extra important in the case and abandon Zhou Jin, he should know he lost all the rights to come back, or be loved by her again..

on the other hand, if I was Zhou Jin, I would think Hansheng's love might feel suffocating for me especially if he'll tell me later on he had stalker tendencies before we started "blind dating"... at the same time, I think I'd be open to a man like him who knows what he wants and at the same time, guarantees I'd be happy with him. I kinda liked him the moment he fell and showed up with a list of why he and Zhou Jin are perfect for each other. a man like that who's committed to only loving and serving me, and assuring me of the things I'd want for in a man, it's so comforting. I don't mind marrying a man like that right away (guaranteed of course we're signing an agreement that if he does something stupid - like cheating, I'll be able to take everything he owns when we divorce. lol)

Anyway, this was a good one time watch but honestly it's a bummer because these 2 are good kissers but they really haven't shown how good they are in this.. it's also not necessarily romance focus but since half of the storyline talks about them feelings and romance, I wish we could've had more lovey dovey moments and kisses. like spicy kisses.

Everyone obsessing over Xie Zheng and Changyu but guys... I CAN'T HELP BUT OBSESSED OVER XIE WU!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 He's all I think about. HE'S SO CUTE in today's episode.. Acting like the big brother that he is to Changyu.. Even dragging her to receive the decree. 😭😭😭 I LOVE HIM!

In the series, it kinda actually feels like Xie Wu took on that role. He's usually with Changning and he protects her. Haha. Since Changyu had her 4 butcher squard in battles with her (as per preview)

I might have to check this one again because I forgot the chapters now. They were just really crazy unhinged and VERYYYYY FREAKY... At least novel XZ knows how to tidy up the mess they make (especially washing Changyu's undies and the beddings).. Not even Xie Zheng's mom's tomb was safe from them coz they be making out in front of his mom's ashes or something. asdfghjkl.

The funniest thing for me though is them having military strat/tactics quiz sometimes when they have seggs. VERY DERANGED AND UNHINGED.,

Sis, we like the drama XZ too! hahaaha. Because they showed despite him being the so called "cold and ruthless marquis," they showed him as a regular human being capable of care not only for Changyu but everyone around Changyu. Which just shows, he deeply cares for who she cares for too. Plus points of course that he's extra caring and loving with kids. Novel XZ wasnt like that at all. Also, the toned down horniness he sometimes felt in the drama was portrayed well unlike in the novel where he has really such unhinged thoughts. ahahhahaa

Wait, what scene was removed? They did kiss though? After the reveal?

That's why i wholeheartedly just think this has been the best adaptation for a chinese drama ever made. They still stayed true to the novel (at least for the most parts) and had certain changes that I wholeheartedly agree too! Especially the same point as yours. If he was novel XZ, he would've been unbelievable if he were to say he had his happiest moments in Lin'an. That guy was never about other people unlike Drama XZ.

Novel Xie Zheng was so unhinged and freaky.. Novel Changyu was also VERY freaky (they be having seggs anywhere and Xie Zheng would be the one washing Changyu's undies and their beddings by hand because Changyu doesnt want the servants to do it. THEY ARE SOOOO DERANGED BRUH..

I guess, I really want to thank the drama directors for toning down both characters.. Especially for Xie Zheng.. Drama XZ was caring towards kids. He was PATERNAL ... Novel XZ isnt.. He's all "changyu and battle" in his brains.
