Yeah, the kind of ending where HY dies and XY time travels, kinda understood that the ending is really with HY being dead already because time travelling would only mean that she wants to relive the time when HY was alive. that's perfectly fine..

however, so Bingzhu died.. but then, I'm curious if Tan'er gained Pian Pian's body and with the same face or if there was an instance of change like she got to change her face back to who she was before (just that it's pian Pian's body) ???

let me get this straight,

bing zhu, kills the 3 ancient demons (who were actually supposed to be more powerful than Hong Ye) and absorbs their power so now, it meant Bing Zhu became a demon?

and after that, when he had enough and maybe a short realisation, Pian Pian helped him end his misery by killing him? am I understanding this correctly?

then pian pian was taken over by Tan'er soul so Tan'er gets to live in Pian Pian's body?

also, I'd love to know what U meant with the twist. spoilers totally fine.

so this kinda feels like Zhu Yan Zhou then.. Neo's character in Fangs of Fortune. a character that feels like was made to bear consequences..

Okay, I like some spoilers. I will watch the remaining episodes (from ep 33) some time next week but I do want to know certain things now.

So I have heard certain spoilers that the 3 ancient demons... Well.. will not mention that now but:

1. Who else died?
2. In the end, is Hong Ye still the demon king?
3. What happened to Pian pian, Tan'er and Bing Zhu? I kinda want to know if Bingzhu had a tragic "supposed" love story..
4. What happened to Hei wu? The minor demons like Wuhan and Xiao Ming&Mu?

I just think it's kinda funny for the 3 ancient demons to do classes like they were at some high school P.E classes. 😂😂😭😭😭😭

it's like, they don't look very ANCIENT or like HONOURABLE at all with those looks and outfits.. 😂 aura framing is 0.

in this present life, even before XY was practicing demon arts, she was already basically half demon and half human.. I believe her father mentioned In the early episodes that she was born special though I can't recall if he mentioned that his mother was a demon. but in the 2nd life, Ning An's mother is a demon. that's why according to the emperor, when she was born, he immediately killed Ning An's mother. I'm assuming the same situation for the 3rd life except XY's father actually loves her.

you know what? At this point, BZ should just stay single coz PP has to go.. SHE NEEDS TO GO. like I don't care if she's being controlled or what because the moment she decides to use that thing to save BZ, she could've just off herself so she can at least die in peace and not be consumed by whatever that's currently consuming her.. like don't be a stress to me in the next couple of episodes please.

she's the demon queen in the 1st life and those 3 were kinda just below her league kinda thing ... I believe Hong Ye was a human in their 1st life.

Watching this series made me realize, they actually were uploading 3 episodes a day... asdfghjkl... Is this normal?? I am so used to the 2 episodes or sometimes 1 episode a day format.

I really liked her in the prior EPs.. but when she showed how a bitch she actually was, I'm just glad she's no longer here..

right. hahahaha. it really is different for everyone. What really just works for me are eye acting (both DYX and HMH really slay this one) and the way they look most especially for costume dramas (gotta really give flowers to whoever is Incharge of their costume and make up for the recent costume drama releases of these men)..

Hong ye here is giving me flashbacks of Fugui (sword and Beloved) the way his scenes are... almost non existent. 🙃🙃🙃 currently at EP16 and I'm about to swerve to Bing zhu's lane now. Hong Ye, you better come back now.. I'm starting to fall for Bing Zhu's smile. 😭😭😭

I am not really a fan of any of the ones I mentioned except Cheng Lei (I am a hugggeee fan of Cheng Lei. I loved all of his works even the earlier ones).. but there's always something weird in Xu Kai's aesthetics so he really could be a HIT or a MISS to me.. again, my opinion.. 🤷 the only person I could think of who could Rival HMH's visuals in this genre is honestly Ding Yuxi.. even when dressed up as slaves or what, they both looked too gorgeous that sometimes they can outvisuals their female leads.

OMG YES!!! I've also watched these 2 shows just about a month ago.. He was so good in these 2 shows. I also saw spoilers for his next drama. the funny thing is, I feel like I can't get myself into this modern drama considering I still see him as cousins with the female lead now. 😂😂😂😭😭😭 coz like, they were cousins and acting almost like siblings in coroner's diary. I really have to get that drama out of my system for now. I had shipped Li Landi and him way too much ... huhu

just making sure we're in the same page here but I'm not necessarily talking about acting. I'm talking about how they look overall especially when they're in costume dramas.. there are actors who should never do costume dramas again (like Lin Yi, Hu Yi Tian), there are some who looks extremely well in this genre as if they're characters are tailored fit to them (Hou Minghao, Ding Yuxi in particular) and some who does modern and costume dramas really well (Ao Rui Peng for Example thou admittedly, older works of Ao Rui Peng in the costume genre feels like a mismatch which I think is because of make up style and costume)

As for Xu Kai, I will never consider him really good in the costume dramas especially his latest costume drama works don't really impress me. He's kinda okay in his work with Tian Xiwei.. His dramas that I find it really bad in make up and costume is dance of the sky empire, ancient love poetry.. and I forgot maybe 2 more that I find him CHOP on those..

oh my Gosh how did I actually forget to add Ao Rui Peng in my list?? hahahah. he's someone I consider really good in both costume dramas and modern but I really liked him in costume dramas too!!! (He should be in my honourable mention list alongside Gong Jun)
