For me, the drama has become FULLY UNREALISTIC NOW. A little bit of fantasy is okay for romantic comedy but there's…
Omg. You have not lived, then. It's actually an established phenomenon in psychology, people want what they can't have and they are literally chemically drawn to people who remind them of their own trauma, because their subconscious wants to resolve it. Maybe some research would help you understand this better

So much of Go Da Rim's character development and background was front-loaded that it's easy to forget how much…
Great comment. I feel like people in shows don't allow characters to have very understandable flaws, and the show did a great job of establishing that she thinks of herself as a huge loser whose only real use is to take care of others and do things no one else wants to do. She has already come a long way, as the Da Rim at the beginning would never have been so bold with the company project, and she is starting to believe that the ML would actually really care about and have feelings for her. She is growing little by little and it's just that the ML is super hot and that classic yearning romantic and so everyone is fine with his flaws, but the FL isn't allowed to have any herself.

You’re listing reasons for Darim’s lack of self-esteem, and I think many people see that and agree. But there…
She has, though. Look at all she's done at the company, look how she rallied all the moms together and essentially spearheaded this huge project that earned them the respect of the company. There were many moments where she at first doubted herself but then decided she was just going to go all in and give it her best, and did just that. She's definitely gotten more confident from where she was at the beginning so I don't get this criticism.

I'm not seeing the chemistry at all, he looks like a child next to her, hope it shows up more in the actual show

Ep 9 was so much filler, I guess I'm the only one who really liked ep 10. It actually had a lot of meat in it rather than just fluff. It had seemed way too easy to bring the Left Minister down, the man spends all day plotting there was no way he didn't have a contingency plan, so I loved the prince finding out their revenge was for nothing. The Cousin Prince really stood out in this ep, his heart break and overall acting are the only thing that makes me care about the second lead couple. The whole sequence of the Crown prince realizing he can't capitulate anymore was so moving to me. And just the hard lesson that you can't make a bargain with the devil and expect to come out as anything but a slave. I really really love the way the actor is playing the Left Minister, usually the evil politician is kinda cheesy or over the top or reckless and hotheaded , but the Left Minsters cold and eerily calm calculating is honestly terrifying and actually makes me believe he has the self control and genius to overthrow and control the entire royal family. I love sagueks with political intrigue so this is so much more enjoyable than pointless body swap and i'm glad that's over.

The writer and the director are very good, so the actual execution will be much better than a cliche premise

I like mature romances like this where it's okay if they both loved other people at one point, if the timing wasn't right for them at one point, that doesn't mean they can't reconnect and have a beautiful and meaningful romance later in life.

Wow this young and educated and DUMB FL... cannot see that she is officially married AND chasing her boss????…
Can you tone down the name calling and cruelty please? It's kinda concerning. It's fine if you're not a fan of the FL but calling her names is offensive and ridiculous

I'm still good with the misunderstanding plotline since it's what I signed up for, but in terms of pacing, the…
Totally agree. I think it is important that he is really upset when he finds out she lied, if he found out too soon he would have jsut been relieved and they would'nt have had to work through anything. But he should have found out at the end of last ep or at the beginning of this one, and then I think he should have kept the secret to himself while he thought about what he wanted to do, I feel like he deserves at least one ep where he knows and she doesn't know he knows so that he can be the one in control finally.

I kinda wish that the ML would have driven the line between them a bit sooner, or a bit stronger… or, I think,…
See, I feel like this is a realistic representation of someone who has denied letting themself get attached to anyone for their whole life cause of trauma, and suddenly finds themself attached. Infatuation can be very powerful, esp if it is based on something more meaningful and if this is the first time he has felt deeply for someone it would make sense that he would think it might be his only chance at love. He tried to severe all connection at first but she refused to quit, he tried ignoring her but he couldn't not lead the team when they needed him. He found out her husband is cheating which added a whole other layer for him. He can also subconsciously sense that she is attached to him in a way that doens't really make sense to him if she's married. So saying he has no respect for himself is way too harsh. He is a flawed character who has been put into probably the most challenging situation for him to navigate. It's super hard to get over someone when you have to see them every single day, he hasn't had time to move on yet. I think your expectations are unrealistic and would make for a much less engaging character and show

THAT SAID I agree with your sentiment that going forward he needs to not just fold after finding out she lied. And I don't think he will, I think he is going to make her shape up a bit before being with her in the end.

I really wish if she could find out about his trauma. It's morally wrong of course, but JH's reaction goes beyond…
I totally agree. She has no idea how heartbroken he is like 24/7 at this point, and I think she was starting to undersatnd his true feelings but then backed off when she saw he was engaged.

sfl should go to go darim and tell her everything because these two men are embarrassing ffs
This would have been SO much better of an idea. 2FL is supposed to be this independent go getter, it would be so refreshing if she was a girl's girl instead, and was like look my fiance is punching out your fake husband he's so in love with you, let's go get our men.

10000% agree. Watching the ML be super heartbroken is bad enough, it would totally have taken the edge off if the 2ML thought he was just protecting his bestie vs being a manipulative, selfish loser.

It's completely ruined the second love line, nothing they do will feel remotely realistic at this point since there have been zero development between them and we are running out of episodes. 2ML is gonna wake up one day in love with 2FL just like he woke up one day suddenly in love with the FL. He will have had 3 different personality transplants by the end of the show.

what a coward 2ML is, he cant admit his feelings to FL but talks big in front of the ML smh
It's because he knows deep down that she doesn't have feelings for him and that her and JH got some kinda thing going on, so he wants to keep taking advantage of her in their fake marriage deluding himself that he will end up with her. He's totally useless at this point.

I felt so bad for the ML this episode. He is the only one suffering in the dark. But my question is, why didn't…
They had only known each other for a couple of days at that point, and she did not get as attached to him as he did or at least she wasn't aware of it at that point since she was really focused on loan sharks chasing her and her mom almost dying, like I get why she wasn't really thinking about finding love at that moment in time. And what she did is literally fraud and he is the son of the CEO. She could go to jail or get blacklisted from getting hired anywhere ever again. Does it make any sense for her to tell him? I think it would be more ridiculous for her to tell him at that point, why would she risk it when she has so much on the line and doesn't REALLY know who he is? She thinks she's only going to be there 6 months, thinks he doesn't much care for her at that point, doesn't know that she even likes him at that point,.

This makes so much sense. He is gonna need to see her suffer a bit like he did before he can forgive her or not feel resentful, and honestly I get it.

That look Ji Hyeok gave when he saw them walking together by the tree is one of the most heartbreaking moments I have ever seen. He couldn't help but smile to see her happy while being gutted to see her happy with someone else. If that isn't what love really means idk what does. Stark difference between Seon U who only wants to see her happy if its with him. JKY is really selling this role I am obsessed w him.

I'm disappointed that the writer chose for him to find out she isn't married by accident. Stories are so much better when driven by character actions vs coincidence and it would have been much stronger for someone to tell him--any of the characters that know at this point could have worked--or even for him to find out when he went to the tree because at least it was as a result of him not being able to forget about her. But oh well, I am relieved he will know the truth because it did feel like the show was spinning its wheels this episode and nothing new really happened, it was a repeat of ep 7 essentially.
