Title Mr. Plankton
I never enjoyed his romance dramas . I think he has had the best chemistry with his male costars so far 🫠😍
Like, insanely good. So much better than with Joy so it was hard to even root for the main couple lol. I have been praying for them to be leads together for years. Literally watched the drama for those two and MinJae

Title The Untamed
China doesn't allow anything danmei (BL) to be explicit. So yes, it's based on a famous danmei novel, but it's…
Thanks for the thorough answer! I like bromance and I like BL, just wanting to know what to expect and how much to read into everything lol

Person Vin Zhang
He seems to struggle to pick good drama projects, which is a shame cause he's a fantastic actor. I still can't believe he slayed the performance as the Qin Emperor at the age of 24.

Is this a BL or just a spicy bromance? I can't tell from the comments.

i rewatch this a lot and i never get tired of it.The story the revenge plot.I know its sad ending but stil love…
I liked it and was happy I watched it. I would totally watch it again. You can't really think of it like a part 2, just think of it like another Chinese drama. It has a totally different plot and feel from the first. But it has a good story and I enjoyed the relationships and the acting.

The fact that this show is still ranked #6 of all dramas after 8 years is such a testament to its greatness.

Even if she didn't kill the ML's mum, she still did very messed up things tho
She did some underhanded shit, but it was only ever in response to Grandpa Puppetmaster trying to force her out of the position. She also helped Tae Ha at times and wasn't willing to actually hurt the company to win. Was she just supposed to step aside and let him take over through Tae Ha?

no cuz the step mum not being the actual villian makes so much sense to me now and also her actions as well! like…
Last week when she hesitated slashing the portrait of Tae Ha's mom and had the saddest look on her face I started to wonder if there was way more to that backstory -- and then I was like, what did this woman actually do that wrong? She was doing a good job as CEO and was just trying to hold onto her position and had to be ruthless going up against a ruthless man who was trying to take her down to put his grandson in her place. Was she just supposed to step aside and let the evil man win?

I see a lot of people going off about Kim Young Dae (me, I'm one of them, he's amazing). But PYJ is sooo good in this! I've never seen her before, but she has played this dual role really well. A less capable actress may have tried to make Ri Ta and Yong Hwa polar opposites to emphasize that she is playing someone different, but she did not overplay their differences so much as just embody two different characters. It was very well done. And she has had so so so many extremely emotional scenes and delivers every time.

The scene at the end of ep 12 where he is back hugging her, ISTG kim young dae was not even acting at that point, he seemed very moved by her performance in that moment and the tears were just flowing for him. She brings out the best in him.

Will def keep an eye on her in the future.

Wow! The trailer for this is so good and I was really looking forward to starting it but the overwhelming consensus…
My jaw is literally open at that first one. The chemistry is SIZZLING. Especially in the past scenes. That's like one of the best parts of the show for me.

this is KYJ's best performance I've seen from him. And the FL actress is fantastic. Her character got kind annoying at the end.

It gets draggy at points but never enough that I didn't enjoy each ep, and I don't think it will be as noticeable if you binge it.

I have been telling all my friends to watch this one. It' will be a great binge watch.

Yeah loved it first but it's dragging too much now. 2 more eps let's see how it ends...
Yah the characters keep doing the same things over and over, making the same dumb mistakes. It's frustrating. I do like the show overall, but wish I'd waited to binge it cause then I would have noticed it drag so much.

Do we have any idea how this is going to end? I'm worried but also holding out hope for a potential happy ending.…
Trying to look at their character flaws for the answer. Her flaw is that she cannot face her own pain, and so that pain gets transferred to everyone around her instead. And his flaw is that he cannot live for himself, only for others. In a tragedy the characters cannot overcome thier flaw and it causes them to lose everything, in a happy ending they are able to overcome them.

They seem to have both made a big step to overcome their fatal flaws by the end of ep 12, so I would ASSUME they will get at least a bittersweet ending or a happy one.

Dad has been really making the point that their feelings for each other is what causes their misery, and we know he twists the truth so I would guess that instead of denying themselves the joy of their feelings at every turn like they did in their past lives, they will win by embracing them fully with courage.

An interesting loose end is that Min Oh isn't dead--that would hint at Joon Oh coming back to life. -OR- at Do Ha embracing the memories of Joon Oh and maintaining a close relationship with his brother.

My other guess is that once the curse is broken Do Ha and Ri Ta will have a chance to go back and live their lives in the past again. And then in the future will be reborn as Ri Ta and Joon Oh and the end will be a funny meet cute implying they fall in love.

Bulking up is good, dropping an unhealthy amount of weight fast is bad. Regardless of gender, this shouldn't be…
I bring up an issues when I see it, I don't go out looking for things to comment on. Like you, I see something that sparks a reaction in me and comment on it.

I wish I could have explained myself so that you could understand the point I was trying to make rather than getting stuck on the weight thing, which isn't the point at all, and distracts from the more important discussion. I see that I won't be able to actually discuss that part of it with you, so I'll disengage at this point. But appreciate you engaging in conversation nonetheless.

women already face so much scrutiny over their weight bragging about being 37kg adds to the already huge problems…
Women get too much scrutiny about their weight, you say? YOU are scrutinizing her body and weight -- what gives you the right to say she can't be proud of dropping to that weight level as an actress. Are you her doctor? Is it your body? Do you get to decide what weight a woman is allowed to be? "Women get too much scrutiny so I'm going to add to that by saying she's too thin." -- How does that help women face less scrutiny?

Whether it's "right" or not was not mentioned in my post at all. I said exactly what you proved -- that no matter what a woman does there is a crowd of people calling her too thin, too fat, too this, too that. And men do not get remotely close to that same level of scrutiny when they make body modifications.

If you read my post again, that was the point. Not whatever inferences you created from it.
