I would have felt cheated if they wrapped up the Sang Wol/ Ro Sa story in 5 mins at the end of an episode when it's been the underlying thread of the entire show. This is actual good storytelling, so many drama watchers don't understand that and just want dopamine hits with cringe romance

I love how understated Se Jin and Mirae's romance is, it suits the both of them sooo well, they are both introverts who don't have to say much to express what they mean. It's romantic and beautiful in its own way.

I hope and pray for the day two attractive 30 year olds aren't portrayed as meek virgins. Like.. cmon.. would it be that bad for them to just be really excited to bang each other? Let's be real.

Deaf people can live just as fulfilling, joyful lives. It's ableist to act like his life is over. Of course it's very challenging but disability is a huge theme of this drama, and it's not a death sentence or a tragedy, it's just another way of living.

I think the mom overlooks both girls in different ways. She sees one as perfect and the other as not enough, and both of them suffer because of it.

I agree with you that he has a hard time with boundaries and asserting his needs at times. I wouldn't call him spineless, I think he is just a very cautious person and has his own particualr way of doing things.

You're missing something big -- at the beginning, Miji needed to step into life, while Mirae needed to escape life, so Mirae will naturally feel like she is the less prominent of the two since her role is more passive at this time, and since a big chunk of her character arc's story details are contained within MiJi's story right now since she is in Seoul, they are a HUGE part of what is happening to Miji, so to say Mirae isn't being featured she may not be on screen but her "ghost" is very present in a lot of what MiJi experiences. It's clear shit is about to hit the fan in Seoul, and when Mirae has to step back into her own life and confront all of that she will be more of the focus.

He knew immediately but MiJi gaslit tf out of him constantly so he put it out of his mind, but his heart revealed itself in its actions, and he just needed solid proof to be sure.

There really is something about him that I just can't put my finger on, but he seems SO genuine in this role, his performance is really subtle put def leaves an impression.

I binged all 6 eps in one day not realizing there weren't more AND ALL I WANT IS MORE NOW. This drama is SO wonderful, I see what all the hype is about. The writing is so well done--I hate when shows have pointless side plots, but all the plotlines weave together so well and are important for the character arcs.

Though with them switching back this week and us only being halfway through I'm a bit worried about what is going to happen, I'm afraid of something terrible.

I think MKY is wasted on the upbeat, bubbly, naive lead roles. She was meant to play tsundere, conflicted, dark characters. She is one of the only reasons I finished the god-awful Tempted, she kept up with WDH in that, and at times out-acted him, she overshined Joy so much that MKY felt like the lead even though she was 2FL. Since then she keeps picking lighter roles probably because they're the roles she's offered, and I'm also unimpressed.

I wish she was playing the lawyer instead of LJS.

I have no idea who any of the actors are, I've only seen a couple C dramas over the years, but this looks like it's one to tune in for?!

Totally disagree. I can count on one hand the 16 ep series in the last 5 years that were solid the ENTIRE run. Even the best ones end up with a slump somewhere in eps 11-15, or have an amazing 12-13 eps and then fizzle out through the end. K drama writers seem mostly incapable of sustaining that amount of eps. I'd rather have a couple episodes that are a little rushed than having random plot lines, lazy tropes, confusing character actions, etc thrown in just to keep a underdeveloped story puttering along
