This was hilarious and the cases were somewhat interesting. This really reminds me of Trick.

The acting and production value are quite good, probably better than or as good as any Japanese shows that appear on WOWOW. However, the mystery part of these episodes is really lacking. This is kind of surprising since Japan has produced several good Mystery/Dectective dramas, such as BORDER, Strawberry Night, Siren, Ishi no Mayu, Shinzanmono (for the serious type) or Okitegami Kyoko no Biboroku, In Hand, Kagi no Kakatta Heya, Galileo, Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de, Control, Biblia Koshodou no Jiken Techou (for the comedic type).

The really reminds me of a poorly executed version of Amachan because of the over-the-top Japanese comedy. If Kudo Kankoro was screenwriting & directing for this, it might have done much better.

The female lead felt like a side character at times. There are other Asadoras where the husband plays a main role in the story, such as Gegege no Nyobo and Massan, but in both of these cases, we are always certain that the story is still revolving around the female lead.

I think this show has the record for the lowest tv rating among all Asadoras. I don't think it was particularity bad, but it wasn't very good either. The first 50 or so episodes are a struggle to get through, but the last 100 episodes are mediocre to good.

Is there anywhere to watch this with English subs?

They did not sleep together while Misaki was in high school. She had brought him along to a hotel and confessed her love for him there. He did not do anything with her that night, but as you would expect, rumors of them sleeping together spread since they were at a hotel together. He was waiting for her to graduate from high school before accepting her confession. He sent a text the night of her graduation but Hazuki deleted it. Mizaki thought that he had rejected her feelings, so they split ways. Fast forward 9 years. He has already divorced his wife and came back to Tokyo. They just happened to meet each other during a summer night festival and ended up sleeping together. 2 months later, Misaki finds out she is pregnant, which is shown at the beginning of the first episode.
