Wasted potential
The idea of this was fun in theory, I don't understand why you'd have the female lead spend half the drama dating other men (even if they weren't actually real). Instead of developing the main romance, they just make her go on dates with fictional men while the male lead is just sitting around doing nothing. Thus you end up with a romance that doesn't feel earned and it just feels rushed and pretty boring tbh. I'm sorry, but her dating a copy of Park Kyung-nam doesn't make me buy her interest in the real guy more. I didn't buy that she fell for him. I guess I can accept him being into her all this time, but I just don't think they managed to sell the romance from her side.
The 2 leads had potential, they had some cute moments, but ultimately I just didn't care too much because of the stuff that happened in the first 6 or so episodes or more like, the stuff that didn't happen. It was just boring. I wasn't interested in watching her use that app, I just wasn't invested in those relationships since I knew they weren't gonna lead anywhere. That whole app bit should have been like a collection of short scenes of all the dudes, not entire episodes dedicated to them. Or maybe just 1 episode with an actual date to show how the app works properly. They showed soooo much of the first 2 dates that I found myself wanting to skip a lot despite actually liking those 2 actors that they cast. And the dates with the copy also bored me. Like I just wanted scenes with the real guy. I wanted to see her at work interacting with her actual love interest and it took ages until that happened.
Overall, I'd say this is a skip and I just don't think it works for me.
