For me personally NJH definitely shines in his 3 projects: 2521 (mature nice guy), WFKBJ (cheerful jock), and The Light in Your Eyes (sad guy).
I couldn't connect with his Start Up and Habaek much, I feel probably he doesn't suit those kind of characters (stiff, nerd Dosan, or even arrogant like Habaek).
When the right character comes along for him, he really shines. I hope for the best in his future projects. He's definitely one of the actors that I like.

I agree. I feel he did such a great job here. There are so many unforgettable scenes from him that tugged my heart, and I love his eyes here (it's like his eyes bare his character's soul). He definitely has improved so much.
It's a TVN drama + the OST it's pretty obvious it's sad ending😭
I'm with you on this. My mind keep having the mental gymnastic, trying to prepare myself for the worst , keep saying it's okay the journey is what's important, but I keep hoping for the happy ending too 😭
Guys this is SO SOO GOOD OMG. That conversation between Heedo and Yijin at the end of ep 4? The whole setting, the green light and everything? IT WAS PERFECT. If they didn't end up together I'm..I'm NOT ready for it 😭😭😭
I need to praise NJH's acting especially at that bus terminal. When he's looking as his dad getting back on the bus, he has hands balled into a fist and the hem of the shirt caught in it, and his expression as if it's taking so much of him to see his dad walk away again. It's so subtle but yet it added depth to his performance. He embodied Yijin character so well, I feel this character is really written for him.
How is it possible that ep 3 is even better than ep 1 & 2? The scene between Yijin and his father, that was really good.. I was tearing up on that scene.. and then the scene where he met Na Hee Do afterwards.. I have no words they're just too adorable together. Their conversations are always so wholesome.
If they didn't end up together, well maybe NHD's daughter will be the one who meet them up after a long time? Like after reading her mom's diary she will try to look for him. I just thought that she cleared up misunderstanding between her mom and her grandma about that ring.. So idk but maybe they will meet up again because of her.
Just finished ep 1. I know I'm going to love this show, but it exceeds my expectation. Everything about it is just so beautiful and inspiring. I found myself smiling, or even tearing up with the characters. I can feel the fighting spirit of Na Hee Do, and SHE IS SO CUTE. Kim Tae Ri really nailed it. I'm amazed with Nam Joo Hyuk too. He really delivered especially that scene when he asked her name in front of the book shop (after he learned that she won't give up going after her dream). I don't know what it is exactly, it's such a simple scene, but that scene alone makes me hold my breath and forget about everything except him who is on the screen. He's a wonderful actor.
Pretending to hate on Kim Tae-ri doesn't hide the fact you're probably one of the SML fans who are still bitter…
I was so surprised the obsession these Startup SML fans have. Startup aired like.. what.. year 2020? It's almost 2 years ago and they're still commenting about it, if it's not obsession, I don't know what it is.
Are you kidding me.. Taeri looks fabulous with the outfit she wore at the press conference. And from what I saw in the trailer, Taeri was AMAZING. Her face expressions and diction are all on point.

I'm actually looking forward to this drama because of the PD and the writer. They are brilliant and I love their previous works so much. And the writer used to work under Kim Eun Sook (who wrote Mr Sunshine, Goblin, DOTS) before writing Search WWW. So I'm very excited for 2521.

Just realised NJH has so many haters. Anyway the casting director definitely see something in NJH that he casted him as a male lead for this drama. If he really can't act, I doubt the director, the writer will approve him to be the male lead? It's a hard work to create a show, they will not just cast just an actor who can't act to lead the show.
