Forget it. They are lost in delusion. If you read their comments now, it is mostly hate, anger, disparagement,…
Don't go to comments sections (MDL, reddit, IG), just go to youtube the swoon videos, the comment sections are my happy places because less hate there.
I just read the comments in here and wow. i am watching this as a kdrama that it is. i thought everyone thought…
I'm with you on this. I always find western shows to be less predictable because literally anyone can end up with anyone on the show. Lol. But not with kdrama.
so happy and proud of all the attention that Kim Seon Ho is getting through start up. He's been on the business…
Yeah I feel bad for NJH too but I think this is just a small hiccup in his career. I'm actually glad he always take various role, including NDS. I mean he's already casted in one upcoming movie and one upcoming drama so I think the future looks not so bad for him. And reading from his interviews I think because of his sports background he will overcome this kind of problem in no time (perseverance and grit from athlete mindset).
Ep 1-5 was amazing. It went downhill after the Hackathon. Shipping war everywhere makes it less enjoyable.
Yeah that could be the case. This is my first time watching on air drama and following the comment section. Hence it was so draining for me to see the shipping wars. Lol
Has anyone come across strong theories/analyses that point to a DoDal ending? I am interested in reading some…
Those two alone are strong factors for DoDal endgame. You know I keep wondering why HJP felt like the main lead in the first few episodes, and there's someone in reddit that explain that the writing is laid out in three-act structure. We started with HJP's backstory, and he plays the biggest role in second and third as well. The writing then shift focus to Dalmi once we get to Sandbox. So the remaining episodes the third act in the show will focus on Dosan. (the time skip will take us to the final act). HJP is the trigger from the past, Dalmi is the dreamer that we follow in the present, and Dosan will be the future. Dosan is very much lacking now, it's understandable because it's not his time to shine yet. I think the remaining episodes will reveal what is the writer's purpose for him. And I noticed that the song Future by Red Velvet is the recurring theme in DoDal romantic moments. By the end of ep 1 that song is also being used when the cherry blossom petal landed on Dosan's head.
Well you conveniently omitted parts that includes communication, good grammar and writing sense of which new dosan…
When it comes to the matters of the heart, it's complicated. Sometimes someone who is the best for you may not make you fell in love with them, and vice versa. Actually my partner in real life is someone like Dosan, who always support my decision and trust me regardless of his opinion about it. Maybe it can hinder my growth, but I don't know I just feel so comfortable with him and it makes me happy everyday. But I respect your opinion and I know where you are coming from.
The thing is on ep 2, when Grandma told HJP the reason why Dalmi rejected all those guys because of NDS, Dalmi said this:
1st guy was rejected because of cinema ticket. -"I don't want to be with him he decides on his own without asking me first, Dosan won't do that." And yeah the real Dosan won't do that he always ask Dalmi before deciding on something.
2nd guy in cinema when Dalmi and this guy's discussed about kissing, this guy interrupts Dalmi and Dalmi ends up leaving. "I don't want to be with him because he doesn't agree with me, Dosan will always be on my side." And look again the real Dosan always respect Dalmi's decision and supports her.
So actually that is the type of guy who Dalmi likes in the first place. Some people love a partner that always tell the harsh truth even it's rude, but the writer has make Dalmi likes a guy who is always supportive with her decision.
I'm sorry, but I don't agree when you said NDS is manipulative. Yes he is a liar (please take note that HJP and…
True that. I was being gaslighted for so many years so I know what I'm talking about. I know that people are being emotionally invested in these characters, but I hope they can remain objective and unbiased when discussing about the story.
I don't know if I can respect NDS as a ML, he is just so manipulative. Here are my gripes:1. He had many many occasions…
Manipulative behavior involves three factors, according to Stines: fear, obligation and guilt. “When you are being manipulated by someone you are being psychologically coerced into doing something you probably don’t really want to do,” she says. You might feel scared to do it, obligated to do it, or guilty about not doing it.

I'm sorry, but I don't agree when you said NDS is manipulative. Yes he is a liar (please take note that HJP and Grandma are liars too). But he is not manipulative at all.
Do you even know what are the signs when someone is manipulative? Please take time to read the real definition of being manipulative.
"If you’ve ever felt like something is off in a close relationship or casual encounter—you’re being pressured, controlled or even feel like you’re questioning yourself more than usual—it could be manipulation.
- I don't think SDM ever felt pressured, controlled, or even questioning herself while with Dosan
The term “gaslighting” is often used to identify manipulation that gets people to question themselves, their reality, memory or thoughts. A manipulative person might twist what you say and make it about them, hijack the conversation or make you feel like you’ve done something wrong when you’re not quite sure you have, according to Stines. “Manipulators blame,” she says. “They don’t take responsibility.”
- NDS never twisted what other people said and make it about him. He never even hijacked the conversation or make others feel like they've done something wrong.
A salesperson, for example, might make it seem like because he or she gave you a deal, you should buy the product. In a relationship, a partner might buy you flowers then request something in return. “These tactics work because they abuse social norms,” says Olson. “It’s normal to reciprocate favors, but even when someone does one insincerely, we often still feel compelled to reciprocate and comply.”
- Did he request something in return when he make the apps for SDM's grandma? I doubt so.
To be quite frank, the reason HJP has become so popular is because the way HJP is written represents all past…
I agree. Many of my friends commented about NDS, why is the male lead lacking confident? Why is he so immature? And so on. So your comment is spot on, many people are not used to this kind of ML in kdrama.
New video yesterday, and NJH hinted "I hope you guys keep paying attention to Dosan who has lots to show from now on and to all other characters!"
