How has no one notice that He Yan didnβt die and has been disguising herself in the army whilst using her real…
He Yan didn't use her real name. She used a different Chinese character for "He" when registering for the army and kept the same character for Yan. I do find it weird that if she were trying to disguise herself that she would've picked a completely different name with no relation to herself but π€·π»ββοΈ Also I guess no one from the He family checked for a body before concluding that she died. We can't dwell too much on the details otherwise the whole story doesn't make sense (like she shouldn't have been able to survive a fall off a cliff already). I mean the original novel plot of a rebirth already doesn't follow real life principles. We definitely have to use our imagination and cdrama logic to reason with why XJ wouldn't have recognized HY's voice and such
I think I've seen and watched all of the content with ZY and CL together already at this point. I'm so obsessed π Just waiting for their Hello Saturday episode to drop now too!
Genuine question for those who did NOT read the novel - are you still enjoying the drama? Is the story coherent…
I tend to turn my brain off and just enjoy the romance when I watch cdramas. But even then, the story is still good for me. I've watched enough cdramas to know when to fill in the gaps with cdrama logic so it doesn't really affect how I view the story. I just go with the flow lol. I really enjoy the drama so far bc it checks all the boxes for a light-hearted wuxia romance for me: comedic, great chemistry, amazing stunt work and scenes, and no heavy political court schemes. I'm mainly watching bc of the chemistry between the leads π₯
finished ep 22 and I felt bad for Youxin π’ and when He Yan was drinking sadly it was like I felt how conflicted…
I didn't understand why she had to say yes either, but I do love some angst and a lil bit of misunderstanding haha. But my guess is that even if HY said no, she doesn't have any proof of this conspiracy yet, so either way I don't think XJ would believe she was completely scotch free just yet. Can't wait to see this get resolved π
I had the exact same thought when I was watching that scene but I didn't mind too much cuz a kiss is still a kiss…
for sure! it's also funny that only one mouth to mouth kiss was needed to rescue HY π€£ i thought she was underwater for a long time which i assumed since it would take some time for them to win the battle and for XJ to reach her lol
I'm not even done with the episode yet but I'm already rewinding to watch ZY's and CL's battle scenes again π₯ the stunt work and choreography is amazing and so mesmerizing
I absolutely can't wait for this drama to release π I was already excited bc of Bai Lu, but I've been watching LotFG and Cheng Lei's acting has been so phenomenal. Doubly excited for this drama now!
Same here, this is the first time I've been consistently caught up on all episodes since release date for a drama…
I totally get that. As soon as my attention is not on work, I'm looking up any content with our leads in it π If you haven't already, you should watch the teasers for upcoming episodes! They also filmed a variety show together, but I haven't found eng subs for it on YT yet :(
I regret my decision to watch this while itβs still airing. This drama is just too good! How do people who always…
Same here, this is the first time I've been consistently caught up on all episodes since release date for a drama π I'm not used to this so tbh I have no idea either! Luckily I have lots of things to focus on irl at the moment so my brain isn't wondering off and thinking about the chemistry between our fl and ml haha
did you notice the way he caressed her bare skin? he kept trying to look how she'd react to his touch. that bruh…
YES!! the second time he did it, i was like i see what you're tryna do π and the look on his face when he had to compose himself and realized he should probably be applying the medicine instead π
"He broke the bridge to separate them, so his appointed sword would not reach her." ππ
