also to add the writer literally said that she want the killer to suffer as much as possible but YH literally suffered nothing its just that he died so it wouldn't make sense if he is the killer and the memories are his. on the other hand, if BR is the killer then having him forget that fact and think that he is a good person and get attached to people around him will be the best was to make the killer suffer imo
