Just finished this but do they ever explain why the security guard in fortuna was helping Kai?? I thought there was more to him and that maybe he was a victim but instead we got nothing. Not even how they got to know each other.
Japan dorama has always been dull forever, especially the detective/investigation drama genre :D Even Japanese…
what was the purpose of your comment really?? why did you even reply to this exact comment just to hate on jdramas lmao. its not like this was a hate comment. if you don't like them its simple just don't watch them and leave them alone rather than bashing on all jdramas. People enjoy it including me.
Most likely that. Or pretty wild, it is possible that Waka and Kuroki are illegitimate sibling (1-3 yrs age gap).…
Yeah, I have seen a couple of shows where siblings look identical but aren't twins so it could possibly be that to but my bet is more on twins if they want to go the logical route. Yeah Hayashi's purpose is also kinda mysterious. Good guesses tho
So I guess the detective is the twin of the guy who died?? but they have different last names so maybe they were separated while young. What is his purpose from this investigation tho? does he want to reveal his brother's crime? or does he just want to know the truth in general. His character seems so mysterious.
both in the novel and here, my first thought after everything is done is how sociopathic he is... Like come on, they weren't directly the cause of her death. Its not liked they literally forced her. Some were also more blameless like Orczy whose death felt almost like him trying to put suspicion away from himself. He knew she was close to Chiori and probably had nothing to do with it. Glad that bottle came back because he definitely deserves going to prison. Although its a shame at the same time since his almost perfect crime became useless at the end of the day even after he got away with everything (Shimada knew but I doubt he would've found any actual evidence beyond his suspicion).
I am still at the first episode but knowing that morisu is van from the novel, I feel like the main reason this is working is because this is the actor's first work so most people wouldn't connect the sick pale Van with a mask to Morisu with glasses. I guess it was smart of them to cast a new actor for that. His face is also always out of focus when the shot is close. I wonder if someone who never read the book would find this suspicious or not.
The synopsis and cast list are still so misleading... Mackenyu barely has any role or scenes. It feels like even his older brother has more scenes and relevance honestly. Hope we see more of him in the last 3 episodes. He is definitely no "dark hero" tho.
Seeing all 4 episodes, I now wonder even more who he was aiming the gun at. Was it Makino? but also another thing to note is that Leo wasn't around in the flashback so he is either a traitor or dead somehow.
That's really nitpicking just to critisize the drama.... Literally this was announced way before that and I don't see any similarity. Drugs was always a topic discussed in a lot of dramas epsecially thrillers with detectives.
Yeah is funny... he barely had some scenes till now ๐
Yeah true but there are 6 episodes left. Btw do you know where to watch ep 5 T_T they say its out but I can't find it anywhere and i don't want to subscribe to disney.

yeah he reallu has low screen time despite being a main character. I am assuming that maybe his father does something to the American reporter which is why he comes to hate him more. there is a scene that hinted toward him always hating his dad tho when the โassistantโ said they maybe Ryu changed.
Its upcoming because its upcoming and not released yet.

the one who is setting him up must be one of his high school friends.
