this is giving me MAJOR the japanese movies "werewolf game" vibes. It's literally the same plot but with a bigger cast and mafia instead of werewolf. I do like them though so I don't mind.
I just finished ep 4. Honestly I don't like that they killed too many character but I get it since we have limited episodes and it would take too long with all student. I didn't like that the athlete student died tho and didn't expect him to die so early. I liked him.
I just finished episode one, but its honestly sad that they already showed us the roles of both FLs since we can't even doubt them now. honestly, If i had to make an early prediction on who the mafia is, my current bets are on the bullied kid. His actor is arguably the most popular and accomplished actor compared to the rest, and he probably had a grudge against the other bullied kid since he caused him to be beaten. I hope its not him though because it would be very predictable. creepy camera dude is also suspicious ngl.
Haven't watched this yet. Does it end in a cliffhanger where the case isn't closed that warrants a season 2?
its kinda open ended in the way that some of the villain are dead but some bigger hidden villain are still out there and the ML is likely to go after if S2 ever happen. I felt it was a very appropriate ending considering the tone of the show imo tho. especially with it being about how the law and the system is corrupt, which is why someone like vigilante is still needed.
its sad seeing some people not enjoying the show or now liking the ending because I LOVED both the show and the ending. I guess people have different tastes tho, and this show literally has all tropes I love in shows so it was just perfect for me. the ending was also WAAY better than the webtoon's and I really ended up loving the last episode although I obviously still want a second season. yeah the pacing could have been better and the truck thing did seem kinds stupid. other than that I really enjoyed all of it including how comical some characters like the reporter and Heon were. Will definitely be a show that I will be rewatching some day soon. 10/10 for me (mostly because its just literally like its made for me with all the tropes I like and type of protagonists I like)
I think his alive though, probably in the rich man's house in some kind of coma or training to be the next or…
lmao they literally said he died!! shows don't always have to show a literal corpse for you to know he died. Especially when its a character people like they deem it too depressing I guess. they literally mention a billion time that he died and JY goes to his literal grave.... Idk what more you want than a literal statement from the police and the news as well as seeing hit grave. God, it hurts how little critical thinking skills some people have....
it wasn't like this in the webtoon, and I honestly LOVED this change.I definitely liked the drama's ending more.
see my other comments here i went into more details. it was generally more vague about if he is going to continue to be vigilante and looked like he was following Cho Heon (i think he went with him to south africa for a while or at least heon offered). overall, him graduating in the webtoon felt more optimistic in a way? there was also this character they deleted that was a girl who liked JY and although he was using her all along as alibi of sorts, there were small hints that he was developing feelings. all those combined gave more positive vibe. also, JY straight up told the reporter that he won’t continue being vigilante (mostly because of seonwook’s death) but then there were hint that he might continue anyway? here it was obvious that he was angry and even more determined to continue as vigilante especially with zero justice being served like heon promised. the corrupted cop was literally praised as hero after death.
He is not die in vain he is die as hero as vigilante
i mean, eventually tho JY is going to come back as vigilante and then the people will start to doubt that seonwook was vigilante. it was more of a short term solution by the reporter to claim that he was vigilante

they literally right after said that he died and it was on the news with the reporter claiming that he was vigilante. even JY went to his grave. god did you just skip through the scene or what? because i am concerned if from all that you just concluded that he was put inside the ambulance.

maybe she played the game before and won but doesn't remember??
it says 2024 here
literally I haven't seen any source that said so
I really don’t feel like writing all that again atm.
