also I don’t know who “most of us” is.
I’v been waiting for this since even before they announced the cast and i know many people watching this solely for the plot (koreans are especially enjoying it I guess especially since the topic is very relevant to their society with their garbage laws so it’s satisfying to watch)

eh , i am actually watching this for the plot ( i am a fan of the webtoon ).
I don’t think everything and every drama has to be “innovative”. for me its fine as long its fun and to me this is very fun. I love the MC and all the other 3 main characters are very fun and entertaining.
i guess people have different opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️

if you read the webtoon, the whole point is that the MC has an innocent face and seems like someone who wouldn’t do that normally.
i thought he really fit the role as a fan of the webtoon

i saw more like he was always a monster. its just that Doyoung awakened that in him.
the final episode just further proves that the whole time.
he killed an innocent cop when he could’ve just ended the whole thing right then and there but he didn’t because he is selfish and greedy so he didn’t want to go to jail.
at the end he also used his brother’s death for his public image which is despicable considering everything that happened. not to mention the fact that he is still working with the people who literally killed him mom and is continuing to trick and scam people.
he was always evil and greedy just like Doyoung ( i think they are very similar actually since they both are greedy for money and they both betrayed their “boss” who they thought didn’t do much).

for sure, the ending just further proved that Dongsoo was always a monster.

also why is he crying is the preview of ep 5? that's a look I didn't expect to see on him.
he also had a weird expression while trying the fruit or whatever that was.
I saw a theory going that Kai has some tasting disorder and can't taste anymore, which is why he is searching for a replacement T_T if that's the case then I feel bad.
Maybe that's why he was crying while eating and threw the plate in the preview since he can't taste it

i mean even if they do see him, i doubt a victim angry at the law for releasing the criminal would just snitch on the MC anyway. he literally saved them.
we see that with the girl who could’ve seen him in the end of the first episode but is not saying anything

the thing is the manhwa is literally 141 chapter so I feel like they will have to rush through some things

I mean no normal person resorts to murder as an act of justice.
He doesn't even seem even a tiny bit freaked out when he actually killed a person for the first time.
So yeah, while he does kill the worst of the worst, I don't know about calling a serial killer a "hero" because of that. Seems like misguided sense of justice and more anger toward criminals because of his past, so its also kind of his way of releasing his repressed anger toward the law.

that could actually be more dangerous because if he just follow the data base and kill a criminal with a story that isn't really publicized then it would be soo easy for them to figure out his identity...
would clearly be someone who has access to such info.
As for the masks yeah it would be better if he wore some, but he is avoiding the cctv and is killing the criminals so I don't see the huge issue. He knows what he is doing

its sad seeing some people in the comment not liking this because the webtoon is one of my favorite and I am actually really enjoying this adaptation. however, I guess fair enough and not everyone has the same taste. Personally, I find the MC's character unique, engaging, and fun to watch. Can't wait for the rest.
