thinking about it now, did they ever find out that the cop is the one who found out their location?? like I know his cousin is a victim and he was forced too but still I found it weird they never found out. Also his video is nowhere near the consequence of finding their location literally even a pregnant lady died (if we argue that the other 3 are criminals). it does tho.... they showed that her drowning him had a positive affect smh with no consequences and that was after she admitted her horrible behaviors so she learnt nothing and we are supposed to see her as a good mother? the show obviously want us to think she is redeemed and is the "good" bad mother but i still see her as a bad mom even if she loves her son which was the whole point of my comment

Even if its a drama doesn’t mean it should promote and condone abuse that is just stupid… and what she literally drowned him after she got cancer so its not like that was a chance for redemption and she actually changed.
I love Kangho and mijoo's character and that is honestly what is making me stay BUT I am hating how this show is normalizing abuse.... especially with a disabled person like making him starve so he can eat alone or drowning him to magically work is basically abuse wth??? and the way they are normalizing it and showing no consequences and rather that her methods were successful is just not ok and she didn't make any difference since his childhood, she really learnt nothing and it just makes me hate the mom and to me its just the bad mother not the good bad mother.
Ok at the first episode I was liking the FL because she had the right motivations and the right to be offended by the ML but she keeps getting more and more annoying..... there is a point where its considered crossing the line, and going to someone and assuming that their dad killed their mom on the sole rumor that someone saw them fighting the day before is just beyond rude and inappropriate! I hope she gets better because I keep skipping her scenes especially the ones with the more annoying reporter
ohhh we finally see what the other train people are doing, I was wondering about that since they said two parts of the train disappeared. They seem to be living better but I don't feel good about them! one of them is the stabber for sure and they might turn out to be the cult/authoritative type of community we see in some shows of this genre.
what I like about this drama is that we start with an already established team where they respect each other with no problematic members and angst, like honestly all of them are nice its rare that I actually like each member especially Murasame, they usually make his type of serious character be disrespectful to the more aloof superior but here he respects Azumi and looks up to him more that anyone which is a nice change. Also, the cases are more realistic compared to other detective dramas which I like, too bad its underrated here. It did have decent ratings is japan tho
Since the big bad is usually someone the MC or someone around him knows in these types of drama, my main suspects are Soga and Shinozaki, I hope its not Soga though since he seems to be the MC's only current father figure. I would suspect the reporter but he is too young to be him. Also seems like the blond dude will be there in future episode so I wonder if he will be helping our MC and join the team eventually??
