what!?!? they actually made and are releasing it! i completely gave up hope this would ever be made after hearing nothing for so long! I’m so happy Nana and JDY are playing love interests!
So this is big spoilers for the final part of the film! You’ve been warned! Throughout the film one of the little boys (Minato) is perceived to be a really really bad kid (or the “monster” of the film) until the final part of the film which is from Minato’s point of view and you see that everything he’s done that seemed bad was just because he has a huge crush on a boy who is bullied at school and he was trying to understand his feelings for his crush and protect his crush. The 2 boys repeatedly meet up in secret to hang out - they meet for the last time and a huge storm breaks out and it seems like they both die, but at the end they wake up and it’s unbelievably beautiful and the sun is shining - and so it’s up to you to decide if they’ve died and entered the “afterlife” together or they survived by some miracle, but they will be separated because of their feelings for each other.
I love seeing Bae In Hyuk in bigger dramas like this! He was the king of webdramas over lockdown - I must of watched more of his dramas than any other mainstream actor during that time!
This drama is frustrating me because it’s ruining so many other dramas for me. I’m so used to watching average Thai BLs, but this one’s come along and it’s so incredible that it’s making me realise how average the majority of BLs I’ve watched this year have been. It’s just so beautiful and truly truly romantic! Also I have to admit that I wasn’t a JimmySea fan - Personally I felt Vice Versa was a let down and I really didn’t feel the JimmySea magic or chemistry whilst watching it, but now I love them so so much and their chemistry is brilliant- truly shows that if you don’t click with a directors style a series won’t work for you, but if you do the series could be incredible- like this one!
I liked the second episode more than the first - Charlie and Babe seemed a little big Insta-lovey to me and I hate insta-love - but Charlie being secretive and clearly at one point working for Tony has added a whole new layer to this story and I’m so intrigued to learn more about Charlie’s character
I think it’s time for me to drop a drama, because I really want to start The Sign - I think this might be the drama that gets the chop for me - I’m just not loving any of the characters- I need some sincere moments in my ships but every serious scene with this couple immediately turns into a joke. I still love TutorYim, just this isn’t my thing.
this just isn’t pulling me in anymore - I feel like it’s partly because of the breaks between episodes, but I personally also really don’t feel much chemistry between Hae Na and Seo Won. But I like the side characters (especially Yul) and I’m so intrigued by Bo Gyeoms story and his link with the new student - everytime he comes on screen I get excited - which is probably the reason I haven’t dropped it yet but he seems to be in it less and less each week.
i am so so happy that Santa is in this and that it’s such a dark role - My Only 12% really proved how good an actor he is and since then I’ve wanted to see him given another role where he can really show off how talented he is.
I want to stop watching this, because I’m bored by the majority of each episode, but I have to admit that TutorYims chemistry is still present even in this messs! There are certain scenes where their chemistry is working for me and if anything that just annoys me more - they deserve better than this series - I feel like they’ve been set up to fail here and it’s quite sad.
I’m definitely intrigued! surprised to actually see a live action series with omegaverse themes - never thought that would really appear in a BL. I like all the actors, they really suit their characters and (I might be the only person but) I was genuinely shocked about the reveal at the end of episode one. But this does feel like it’s moving really really fast when this is a pretty long Thai BL. I feel that in terms of the progress of Babe and Charlie’s relationship-lo in 1 episode we’ve accomplished what usually occurs at the halfway point of most BLs - their must be a lot of story to tell, because this is the fastest paced relationship I’ve ever seen in a BL
I had ridiculously high expectations for this and episode 1 has exceeded those expectations completely. ummm blown away P’Aof just gets so so much better with every series of his!
I’m really not sure if I’ll come back to watch this next week. I didn’t feel it was bad or annoying - it made me feel literally nothing, which is so weird because usually TutorYims chemistry has me squealing non-stop.
This is such a shame! Jade was genuinely my favourite character in Bed Friend. He was actually funny, but he also showed his sweet and serious sides - I wanted to delve more into who Jade is under the humour, but they've instead increased the "humour" to an annoying amount and taken away all of the other sides of his character. I really hope that as the series continues we see mor of those sides of Jade re-appear, because I don't feel like this is the Jade that I loved in Bed Friend.
I haven’t seen any of the adaptations of this story and I have to say after 1 episode I’m enjoying this quite a bit. I’m really loving how endearing Kao is here! I’m excited to see the leds grow closer
