can we please make sure this goes ahead!? I want zero cast changes or anything - I want exactly what we got in the trailer in the final series and to actually get the series - I get worried when the production houses have no prior series - I've been burned by too many incredible trailers before
So can gmmtv actors work with other companies too or is this a co production?
I don't know if it's a co-production. But GMMTV actors frequently are loaned out - Like New and Tay (from TayNew) consistently have separately lead straight series on different channels (but usually with sister companies). I just think because they know the value building their BL cps inside the company this is one of the first times they've allowed a gmmtv and non-gmmtv BL pairing.
Is chuay played by Tonnam? He looks a little bit like him but also not at all… I’m confused. I’ve watched Tonnam so much over the years, but I feel like he doesn’t look like himself and it’s not the tan - it’s something else
When will the filming start i am really excited to watch this one.
The director is half way through his current drama “When Oranges Fall” - not sure if this or his other project “Good Boy” will begin filming next - but at least he’s one of the fastest directors in the company
Au is directing Wish Upon A Star first it seems as it’s having its workshops currently - but we already kind of knew this wasn’t going to get moving till like August/September when the cast was guessing it’d air at the very end of this year or the start of next
I just really really love this! I didn’t think that Fah and Phoon beautiful story could be beaten, but this is everything. I love Ngern and Oats chemistry and they have such a unique chemistry - I suppose that’s what happens when you know eachother for 10years! As I said I love this and 8 episodes is way too short. I know the next story will only really include North from the previous stories, so I’m going to really miss Arthit and Dao
Zhang Ling He is huge in China. I feel like if we have any hope of this airing his popularity needs to simmer down, this would be too big with his current fame
I am happy TayNew are in this, but if the older roles were literally just a guest appearance, I would've loved Win to play the older version of Mick...
Java just did a live saying Roommate Chaos is actually still quite a bit of a wait, it ,could be end of 2026 or maybe 2027 - so that makes me feel this might be Aus next project?
I feel like their story needs a whole 12 episodes - because they’re the only couple to not have a past and so it feels so slow burn (I’m obsessed and I love slowburn) but I want to see them being cute and in love after the slowburn! we have so few episodes left with them!
I feel like director Aus speciality are series that feel like a warm hug: comforting, sweet and healing. I am excited to see him head back to highschool for his first GL and then head to university for the first time with the BL Roommate Chaos - Ossans Love was a miss for me - but I feel Au was back doing what he’s so good at with Cat For Cash.
the first few episodes were good, but I didn’t love it as much as I thought I would, but now I am obsessed. The pain the yearning!!! I truly think a big reason this is so good to me is because of the performances! Every actor is nailing every single role!
Tonam does a great job as an assistant director for DMD productions (and obviously he's a very talented actor) but the last time this directing duo teamed up it was for Dinosaur Love, which just wasn't great, I really hope they do well with this one because the pilot looked like theres a lot of potential here!!!
I hope we keep getting crossover airing for DMD - we have a 4 week overlap with Duang With You and Love Upon a Time, I hope the same thing happens with Love Upon A Time and this and then this and Mr Fanboy!
