Tailai released their first teaser for Nour 3 months before the air date, so maybe we will get this around November. But Nour is on WeTV and this is obviously iQIYI, iQIYI series tend to come a bit quicker, I think Payback aired pretty much exactly 2 months after their initial teaser so maybe we will only have to wait till October.
I really like this, I’m not even sure why but I do. I have never been a big MaxNat fan but I love their dynamic in this and the islands are beautifully shot! I’m having a good time, but we are only a third of the way through and leaving the islands so…
Did they change the “fake dating” element of the plot from the pilot? Because in the pilot Barcode is Moths friend and Moth says he wants to make it clear to Pun (Kin) that he’s not interested, so Barcode recommends fake dating Dean.
This could still be the case, but if it is a change I kind of love it - it’s so much more messy with a lot more potential for drama!
And from the 2026 GMMTV showcase this pilot was my most anticipated series of 2026, but the official trailer is even better!!!
Victor has such a small part in this, but I’m still waiting for him to be the cause of all bad things in this series, since he’s been the bad guy in every bl series since leaving GMMTV
I've been wondering for ages who the Director is for this, surprised its Jojo, he did a beautiful job with their concert trailer, but his more comedic works can be a bit more hit or miss for me - I tend to prefer his more serious works, but that being said he has created some of the BEST comedies like "The Warp Effect" and he has a distinct style which is far from YinWars previous works, so I still have high hopes.
I’m enjoying the start of the second half a more than the first. It feels like everything in the first half was building to create this epic set up for the final half - I love it.
Also I finally watched the “Lust” pilot and I cannot look at Dan the same way again after seeing the total black flag he’s playing in that and the fact that Put (Korn) will be his partner…crazy. I feel like it’s going to make “Don’t Be Too Emotinal” look like a show for kids with how dark it is AND I’m so excited for it.
Mike as Jack was my favourite part of “A Boss and A Babe” and I’m loving Gunner as the role here - feel both performances work so well for the character.

He was crying so much on stage - it was so heartbreaking. He was basically pleading with the bosses to not start the series yet. Said he’s burned out and used everything up that he’s built over the past 10 years. Even Mark said that he doesn’t even remember the last time he was able to eat with his family.
I really hope this doesn’t start filming this month. It’s my most anticipated series to come, but after hearing what Junior said at the concert, he really needs a break and some time before starting a new series. Burnout is real and he’s clearly struggling, I just want my faves to be okay more than anything else.
ohhhh! I just love this so much! it’s ridiculously cute! the movie theatre scene killed me with their cuteness! Im already kind of sad this is only 8 episodes!
I’m actually really pleasantly surprised by Ping in this role. After watching him previously I never thought he suited the “cutsie” “silly” roles he was cast in, but here he’s pretty serious and he’s actually really believable.
Also I can defo see some inspiration from Challengers in the tennis scenes - from certain angles to the music, which I like. And Chic is making a couple interesting shot choices outside of the tennis scenes - which keep it visually interesting - After ep2 I’m still liking this more than I thought I would.
