I think I just really like slow-burn jdramas that don't have a too much of a plot and are more just about life and the characters and I feel thats what this is. I know some have called them 1 dimensional characters, but I really liked them. They were so endearing and I felt their chemistry really worked. I'm know I'm late to this one, but it had me kicking my feet with its cuteness, very re-watchable, in a way that only jdramas can be.
I loved this first episode soo much. I know a lot of people have said this before, but DMD Friendship Reality is such a good way to get viewers to root for your new pairings. After seeing TeeTee grow across 2 series and Por across 1, you can’t help boot root for them and this series and it’s so great to see how much they’ve grown inbetween then and now. I’m really hoping this series continues to be so darn cute!
does anyone know when Arthit and Daos story will begin? there’s only been like 4 or 5 days of filming for the next couples story, so I can’t see it being next week or the week after and some are saying it’ll be Suea and Nao next instead.
Netflix Japan announcement states 3都市を舞台に二人の青年が歩んだ 10年に渡る魂と愛の物語…
Thats good to hear. I have found so many external articles that claim for it to be a romantic love story, but then everything officially from Netflix avoids any mentions of "romantic" love so its very confusing trying to decipher.
I don't want to be the reminder of bad news, but the tags on Netflix are still: "Understated, Intimate, Drama, LGBTQ+, Friendship, Japanese, Limited Series" I think the speculations that Hayato's character is gay in the story and Taeceyon's is not, but they form a close friendship spanning 10 years... I think that might be legit. There would be a romance tag in there, instead of a "friendship" tag if it was a love story I feel.
Official synopsis ,it's bl you all After unintentionally destroying the life of his best friend, Ryu leaves everything…
This synopsis was shared before a while back, but it didn't have "and eventually fall in love" until reports today, so either Netflix added this to clear speculations, or its a mistranslation, or it was added by people reporting that hope its a BL. I really hope it is, it would be huge.
it actually took me 3 years to finish this! I kept on trying to watch it, but everytime I would leave it after episode 3. Not because I wasn’t enjoying it, but because I was scared of how depressing this would be. Now I have finished it, it wasn’t as depressing as I expected, there was so much love and comfort and support, it softened the pain of the past for the viewer like the characters. I’m so happy affer 3 years I finished this!!!
this obviously shows budgeting restrictions, but it works around them to the best of its abilities. I do have to say, 2025 was the year China came back to the land of BL (through soley international releases) and after watching all of them along with Revened Love and Litchi Island, this is one of my favourites. Although the plot is just repeated pain and frustrating miscommunications caused by the “villain,” I still really liked this. The leads natural chemistry is so good, their little moments of physical intimacy felt so real and natural. I really was invested in them achieving their happy ending! Also I a lot of the Chinese BLs had a campiness to them, making even the most toxic ones a bit silly, but this doesn’t have that campiness, making the actions of the villain all the more terrifying. Also with it mirroring alleged events from last year.
Easiest 10/10 for me ever. This has brought me so much joy and I have already rewatched the episodes countless times and will continue to! it’s been years since GMMTV (or GMMTheeV) has released anything I have loved this much. How is anything in 2026 going to top this!?
the multiple personality thing has thrown me a bit. I thought he just had repressed memories from the trauma, but now there’s a different version of himself… maybe I wasn’t paying enough attention earlier in the series, but I also am not invested to go back and rewatch to understand how this revelation came to be
overall I really loved this series! SeaKeem are officially my comfort pairing! I love them. SurfJava I also love - their chemistry was so good and their level of acting is equally good as well, I really hope they have a bright future at gmmtv, because it’s crazy that they’re this good in the first series we are seeing with them together! I can’t wait until their MuTeLuv storyline (only a month to go!!!) Also personally this is my favourite gmmtv theme song of 2025 - I have been listening to it on repeat since episode one!
I know for WilliamEst we have Your Maniac coming next year and X’s next series is out in 2027, but can we start a petition to have a RomeMok spinoff that tells the story of their novel, with Thee and Peach popping in and out. I would love that.
I know almost everyone says season 2 isn’t as good as the first, but is it better to jump straight in with Seaosn 1 fresh on your mind or wait it out a little bit before starting season 2?
kind of crazy that there is already merch for this (made by P’Aof) but still zero news on when this will start production. I thought it’d be the very last GMMTV25 series to be made and it is! A Dog and A Plane has started fittings!
I really thought I’d seen a bunch of places that SurfJava was next, I thought they were saving Dew till the end… I’m sad, but it’s okay I’ve watched every MuTeLuv story so far! I can wait another month for SurfJavas story!
Has this started filming? I thought I saw it had, but I can't find the number of Qs anywhere - so maybe it was just MuTeLuv or the trailer filming I saw photos of.
