what is happening! this is insanity. I’m not mad with where it’s going - I prefer it going in this direction plot-wise, the motivations and emotions don’t make any sense (to me) but I am more interested now… so clearly my feelings for this series are muddled. Maybe it’s just because Junior was on my screen for a minute and I love Junior!
For now I’m over my love of FarmVan sadly - but that being said I think Java and Surf have proved they have great chemistry and in a months time we will be getting their MuTeLuv enemies to lovers story, which I’m very excited for and then later Roomate Chaos - so whilst I may be upset with where their story has gone in this - the first 6 episodes made me really like them as a pairing. ALSO with that being said this is Jinn and Jerome’s show really and they were sooo cute this episode (like all episodes)! I don’t know what it is about Sea and Keen but I love them in every series. They can do no wrong to me!
if this is 12 episodes we have time - I need Farm to break up with Van and Van to grovel and make real self improvements for episodes 9, 10, 11 and the start of 12. I don’t think this is going to happen, but I wish it would. Farm needs to stand strong or Van will keep taking advantage of him and their relationship.
this is such a perfect series to me! it’s got this solemn tone and it may have fantasy elements, but the characters and the hardships they face are so real and grounded in reality!
Everyone is incredible in this, but I just really have to applaud Pond here for the year he’s had. He’s appeared in 3 bl/gl series this year, with COMPLETELY different performances. I’ve loved and hated him, the roles are all so vastly different as well as the tone of each series! Although his character is the worst here, I’m happy he’s a part of this!
personally I’m upset with what they decided to do with Van and Farm. I really feel like the “will you be my boyfriend” convo should’ve happened instead of the gym scenes at the end of the previous episode - it feels weird pacing-wise to have a big moment like that building for 6 episodes to happen at the very start of an episode. I also feel like Van has been trying to be a better person for Farm for a while now… and then that all went out the window the moment they got together!? I’m confused. I still like Van and Farm becuase Surf and Java have great chemistry, but it really feels like the writers wanted drama and realised they were nearing the end so they panicked and wrote this abrupt storyline, when they’d done such a good job and building their relationship. I still love this show, it was just so perfect (to me) up until this point! I feel let down! But Jinn and Jerome are still my precious, amazing cutie pies!
this is OffGun like we’ve never seen them and they are both SHINING here. Off in particular is playing a character so unlikable, cold and unpredictable, I don’t see Off here, he’s 100% Ko. The scenes feel so electric whether it’s Off and Gun or Dew and Gun… Nuchy has really outdone herself with building the tension in every scene. And I honestly cannot see how a potential romance will blossom between Ko and Jira at this point and that makes me so excited for everything that’s to come!
I really liked season 1 and they definitely were able to continue the tone of the drama throughout season 2… it was just Shirasaki kept frustrating me with his rigidness and selfish-ness. I was happy to see the other characters again though and I wish we’d had more of a story with Yamase and Sakuma as the actors, but at least we get one episode of the story of the characters they play in the fictional series’s.
He is going to be the lead in Koreedas newest film (his last film being Monster). I’m so excited I love Kotaro and he’s now working with one of the biggest film directors currently working in Japan!
this isn’t working for me - I know so many people love it, but I just personally don’t feel the chemistry between the leads… sorry! Nikita is so stunning (I have a new crush and) I like Sea and Lanee, but they got together sooo fast. I also like Mud and Book, but they story was so infrequent I keep forgetting what’s even going on with them!
I really enjoy Bonus’s performance in this, although he’s a “villain” his natural charisma made his scenes interesting to watch, I feel like I can see him being a lead in the future. I also did not recognise him as Bua’s original boyfriend in Gel Boys, my favourite series of the year!
Okay so this week the second couple really got to me and I need to talk about it.So Van’s phone got totally…
yes! I love this! I think this week really added layers to their relationship- that were already there, but they gave us more context to elements we’d only glimpsed briefly. Both couples are special in this, but this week in particular Farm and Van had me in my emotions a couple of times.
Where did Tontoei come from? I’d never seen her before but then she was is Khemjira, this and she’s going to be in Fourever You Part 2, Love Upon a Time AND she was in a GMMTV 2026 GL trailer. I’d never seen her before but she’s everywhere now, across several companies!
I’m like the interaction between Porsche and DeeDee, but it also made me kind of sad - I thought Porsche would stand his ground better… boy was the most morally just character until a pretty girl started touching him… this is why you can’t trust men! But I will still look forward to their other interactions, there’s a point in the trailer where I think he was carrying her (injured or unwell) down the hallway so I assumed they grow closer.
