I know it’s not cool to be a GMMTV series fan - and a lot of the time I am disappointed - but sometimes they actually get it right and the 2 series I’m watching and having the most fun with is this and ‘Me and Thee’ - they don’t always do well - but I feel like they’re having a good moment currently!
I think it proved I’ve been through the BL trenches, that when I first heard Thee speak in the restaurant scene and thought that the sound quality was just accidentally really bad which was why he was so quiet - but then realised it was a purposeful joke. Thats the level of sound quality I used to be prepared forback in the day. They can’t play with me like that - I have bl series ptsd!
I think JJ has to have broken a record for most BL appearances in a year. Perfect 10 Liners, Heart Killers, ReVamp, Head 2 Head and Me and Thee have all aired in 2025! Crazy!
Risa is like “I cannot trust these gays to do anything” She is officially the most evil of the siblings - if we are counting murders - I think Chet might have the lowest count. this was a good week for Chet and Park - they’re characters chemistry is the best in the show for me personally - I can’t help it! I love their crazy characters together!
I’ve never seen a show be able to do pure massive scale insanity of and then a really quiet story of family and balance them so well with one another. This series did its loud crazy over the top moments well and it’s quiet ones and it worked and felt like a cohesive story! I have to admit that I really liked part 1, but part 2 made me completely love part 1 - it made everything that happened in part 1 even better!
yeah… I love this! I really thought this might not work for me after episode 1 but I really liked episode 2 and then episode 3 this week was even better!!! The chemistry is really good and Naoya is just killing it as Minato!!! I love hope he’s playing him!
I am so late, but this was so good!!! This is so different to any BL I’ve seen before in its tone and plot. I am such a fan! Definitely all characters are morally grey (which I love) and it’s topics are very mature - but Nakarai and Hagiwara had such great chemistry on screen, that seemed to evolve and grow as they grew closer.
Offroad is giving the best performance here. BUT I don’t think I can get onboard with Than and Pheems relationship - it just feels exhausting. Which is hypocritical of me because even though Chet has completely lost it I’m still in favor of Park and Chet. Even though the only ending I can see for them is probably dying together “4Minutes” style.
I didn’t love the first episode, the motivations of Minato don’t make sense to me, BUT now that in episode 2 we are seeing the resulting actions of those motivations I’m actually I’m really enjoying it! i love characters out for “revenge” when they’re already in love and Minatos pretty much in love after just 1 day! The two leads are such different characters and I think that’s why I really like their interactions. I loved Minato being so disgusted at all the joy around him, but the next episode saying “it’s the happiest day of his life!” - So yeah you kind of have to ignore that the motivations don’t make much sense, but once you get past that I think this might be a really enjoyable series. (also I’m loving Naoya’s performance as Minato so much)
I’m actually really excited for this. All we know is that it’s the same universe. At first I thought maybe we’d see Akin in a role and the series would be from that perspective, but with Toey here I’m confused maybe it’ll be the beginning of Akins story in the industry. Or even better… is it a parellel world? I’m excited and I’m so happy to see Boom!
I just love this so so so much! I’m loving SeaKeen with this dynamic - and it really feels like Seas acting has SERIOUSLY improved this year and you can really tell now he’s not playing such an opposite role to what we’ve seen from him previously. I think I could honestly watch and love SeaKeen in anything- they just work so well together on screen! ALSO I love SurfJava - their dynamic is one I love every time I see it and they’re doing it so well with great chemistry especially as their first airing series! Also I love that New has realised (after 3 series this year) if you just leave JJand let him improv - you get the best comedic material.
“I have nothing, but you have friends and family to go back to! Go!” “Even though I have them, I’ll stay with you”… I’m sorry my Chet and Park obsession is only growing, especially when they’re saying lines like this next episode !!!
