This is shaping up to be one of my favourite BLs of the year so far. It's kept to a really simple storyline and i think that's why it's working so well - a lot of the KBLs have had quite complicated plots and not enough time to tell them, where as this one has a lot more time and is a lot more simple - it means we spend a lot more time just watching the characters interact normally and because of that I feel like these are some of the most fully realised characters in a KBL - this is up there with Where Your Eyes Linger and To My Star for me. Anyway so excited to see what's to come! And I keep telling myself Taekyung will end up with DaOn so I wont be disappointed if that is the case, but I want Taekyung and shinwoo to end up together so badly my brain isn't accepting DaOn as a possible outcome. I'll be crushed if DaOns the one he's in love with.
I'm such a fan of the Francesca and Louis scenes, they're kind of adorable, I can't stop smiling during their scenes. When they were building their friendship I was really hoping they'd go there but didn't think they actually would!
I was so excited for this and I know it's only been 2 episodes but so far my excitement has been completely justified - I can't wait to see how this story evolves!
seeing 2 socially awkward people adorably interact is so heart warming and relatable. I really want Shin Woo to be the ML, personally I've found his story with Tae Kyung far more interesting and also their 2 characters are actually really really similar. I just am here hoping its them who fall in love and knowing my heart will probably end up broken... *sigh*
I'm not as obsessed with it as I was after the first 2 episodes, but it's still good and the houses they show in this drama are so beautiful they make me want to keep watching. Also the conversation of everyone's relation to what a "home" is is quite interesting.
After reading the manhwa and seeing a couple episodes of Light On Me I really think Lee Sae On would be a great fit for the lead, visually very similar and quite similar personality to his Light On Me character just a lot more angry
So I kinda love this...didn't see this coming. My hopes were low but this was interesting and funny and already if Shin Woo isn't his first love I'll be mad.
Where Your Eyes Linger stars Han Gi Chan an idol trainee Mr Heart stars Cheon Seung Ho who's in The Man BLK (he's also a side character in Where You're Eyes Linger) Mr Heart and Nobleman Ryu both starred Lee Se Jin who used to be a trainee Nobleman Ryu and Wish You both star Kang In Soo who's in Myname Wish You's other star Lee Sang is in IMFACT Color Rush stars Heo Hyun Jun who was in The Boyz and redebuted as a soloist Light On Me stars Lee Sae On who was a trainee and Choe Chan Yi and Go Woo Jin who are both in The Man BLK To My Star, You Make Me Dance has side characters who are played by idols. So every KBL non independently funded has at least 1 idol or trainee. So many were in Produce 101.
I am shocked...ages 24-27. I thought they were all about 16! anyway I'm really enjoying this first episode. I know Koreas new to BLs but they definitely have their own style and I'd missed that style the past few months!
Park Joo Hyun has never been the lead in a romantic drama! I'm so excited! She's so talented but I thought she might be purposely avoiding them. I hope she confirmed cause oh my goodness these 2 would make an adorable pairing!
I really have enjoyed my time watching this series. It's funny, the characters are a lot of fun and the couples had good chemistry. I think a few years ago this would be by far the best BL I've ever seen, but considering how the quality of BLs has grown recently I think this may end up being a little forgettable, but that being said it's been so much fun and I'm so glad I watched it! I can't wait to see what Gmmtv does with these actors next they were all wonderful.
I like this, yes its pace is glacial, but I still enjoy it - the leads have great chemistry and I just love seeing Hank Wangs dimples! But I'm not really a fan of the second couple, one of them is just so innocent he behaves almost like a child which makes their relationship feel a bit uncomfortable for me.
It's almost too meta for me that they have an entire episode full of Parasite parodies and then to have one of the stars of parasite make an appearance. I love it though!
