Yes! My favorite Liu Chang (Dr He) should be coming up soon I think? 🤞Since he's the 8th disciple at the academy and we've started the academy storyline. Yep, I'm pretty darn excited to see him. But it will be weird to see him without his glasses 👓😂 (I can't wait for the next Link Click to see what psychotic Dr He does next!)
This show keeps getting better and better! The action and humor are top notch. I love the competing for a slot at the academy by brewing liquor and grilling lamb. I think that must be a first! 😂

Just watched the first episode this is not quite as bad as I thought it would be. It's still a short webisode type series but hey I'll take it since it has Huang Junjie 😉And for everyone who says his acting is stiff or he doesn't show emotions, you need to check this series out!

Well, the series is chock-full of beautiful guys who are good friends and/or enemies with each other. But no BL vibes, just really close friendships. Their interactions are all fantastic! The sarcasm and snark is high in this one. IMHO 😀
Episode 8. I'm loving the scene of having hotpot in a gazebo on a snow covered mountain. I'm adding that to my bucket list! 📝 Is second lady (Qing?)supposed to be a 5 year old girl? Acting like a little child and using that Children of the Corn freaky voice. I recognize that voice as one that dubs a lot of children in cdramas. Always creeps me out. 😨 Poor Dongjun is getting bullied! Time to call the grandfather in to bring the army and attack the city! 😂 Ouch, one heck of a reality check for Dongjun, finding out he doesn't have the strength and thinking he made a trip for nothing. He's so sad 😢 Love the 2ML spying on the ML when he's talking to him. Or at least the dead him. Cause he thinks he's dead. You know... 😕 And another cliff hanger dang it Nothing to do with the series, but Youku, I wish your app didn't suck so much. There's no fast forward/rewind, the trailers for the next couple of episodes haven't been subbed yet, the highest resolution for this show for some reason is 720p. Weird, the (non-subbed) trailers were both 1080p. For some reason my preferred sub language keeps getting forgotten and I get Mandarin as the sub, AND the default language changes from Mandarin to Thai. It's very disconcerting to all of a sudden start hearing the characters with different voices in Thai instead of Mandarin. This happens on AppleTV app, web version using chrome, firefox, and edge, also using iPhone app. 😒Rant over.
