Episode 1. This is the exact bit of silliness I need right now! 😃Yes, I'll admit, Bi Wenjun is damn pretty. (But the hair here is a bit much.) I don't think I've seen him do comedy before but he's so good at it! The FL is a hoot! This seems like it's going to be fun. 💖
This series is so wonderful visually. Like the cherry blossoms falling, butterflies flittering around, the absolutely beautiful guys with the hair and their costumes. The sword dancing is beautiful. I love their stories and interactions. It's worth watching just for the opening/ending segments! But I know this is going to end up breaking my heart, isn't it?
I'm on episode 8 and so far the leads haven't gotten together again and it's been years! How long before they actually are together? I love slow burn romances but they at least need to be in the same country/time zone/city to get the ball rolling? So far I'm not like this at all. All the descriptions say no angst. Well, here she is taking care of his comrade's kid and he is no where to be found, until, oh wait, he's getting married next week to someone else? Time to drop this.

Episode 6, Zhang Lingyu practicing with the headphones on. The music and his moves are awesome! I can watch him all day. The montage of them all practicing. 💖 Episode 6, Xia He and Lingyu together part one. The music and the camera angles. 😄 Episode 13 Wang Ye vs Zhuge Qing match. Just beautiful! 'Zhuge Qing. Have you suffered a loss before?...Do you think you can accept a defeat then? The kind of defeat that invalidates all your achievements before' 😍 Episode 14 Feng Shayan vs Jia Zhengliang. Starts out with Zhengliang on the phone with his mom who is trying to set him up with Shayan, so funny! Then they both seem to be trying their damnedest to kill each other and then it turns into a slow motion sexy, romantic scene, very very funny! 😘 Episode 15/16 Zhang Lingyu vs Zhang Chulan. The 'pure' versus 'tainted' lightening palm. 'Shameless' versus the white-clad hero. Chulan seeming to win on his own merits but ends up winning only because Lingyu was slipped a mickey. Episode 16 Bi Wenjun's abs, oh my gods! 😚 Episode 21, when Feng Xingtong picks Wang Ye up at the bus stop to try and recruit him, thinking he is a destitute Taoist, only to find out he's uber rich! Thanks for the lift! 😂

The ML is in absolute heaven taking the FL around. Gosh, sweetness overload! So damn cute!!!! The basketball scene. Who could concentrate with ML leaning on your back whispering in your ear. My favorite episode so far. Oh my heart, 'So you're happy today?' I thought he was going to jump over the table. But the subtle disappointment when he thought she was talking about the music. I think he's getting tired of waiting! What is the next episode going to bring? Can't wait!
