Why is it always the FL's best friend who says/does something something that blows up in the FL's face? I will have to add that to my ever growing list of tropes/cliches! 😉
I watched this as it was first released and remember how much fun and frustration there was, with every time the ML and FL went to kiss, one or the other's phone would ring and stopped them in their tracks. I forgot how much I enjoyed this series! Rewatching it again cause I want something sexy and light-hearted and fun and this series does the trick!
After rewatching, I figured out why I started having a hard time and wasn't very happy with the middle episodes. Simple. Leo Luo stopped smiling. All of the 'filler' episodes I disliked. He wasn't smiling. I need Leo Luo's sideways glance smile/smirk. Without that smile there's no animation in his face. I think, IMHO, that is what makes him a superior actor is his ability to show emotions, whether happy, angry, psychotic killer, whatever, we need that smile. 😉

Episode 11.5 (on kisskh, no idea what's up with that lol). (can't wait to watch this tomorrow on Viki so I know what is actually being said). Another interesting episode. ML is as gorgeous as always. FL is cute as a button, but her friends are questionable lol. Her bff telling the equipment supplier lies to get the 3d printer, then having it come back to bite the FL in the ass. And pissing off and/or hurting the ML. 😮💨I hope this one gets taken care of soon too so we don't have long misunderstandings. Ex boss really is an evil one, isn't she. 😠How long is it going to take to put her in her place and get her out of the picture?
Episode 10, omg how funny the 4 of them are together! The FL was so good, walking the fine line between being hysterically funny as a grabby singing drunk, and tragically sad for losing her boyfriend. The ML with the umbrella, being unable to stand after sitting so long with the FL holding his legs/hands. And then the look on his face while listening to her....🥰 The nephew is my favorite character so far. I love the way he was just laughing his ass off constantly at the entire situation. And the poor BFF trying to corral everyone and keep control, losing the battle. 😄 Wow, isn't that the first time we've seen ML smile?💖 He asks his assistant how long it takse to get over a breakup: 1 or 2 months. And then his 'not that long' when it seems she is doing ok. How sweet! Ok, I love the FL's mom. She's adorable! I love the way she is basically taking over the ML, that sweater lol! And once again, the look on his face. And mom knows, he is so into the FL. I wonder how long it's going to take for the FL to start liking him back? I'll bet not long

You are absolutely right! I hope this didn't come across as complaining about the subbers, and if it did my apologies! I know they are doing an incredible job, and they (the subbers on Viki) collectively are the best translators out there. I am amazed at how quickly they can go through a series and translate like they do. They are appreciated! 🥰
Of course I wish someone would invent time travel so they could get the episodes earlier to translate them faster 🤣

Episode 9. Wow, FL! She's at this super important seminar where she is meeting all these important people for the first time. You only have one chance to make a good first impression. Don't show emotions/break down crying. You need to smile and pretend everything is fine. Get a grip, you're supposed to be strong and fearless and professional. Geez. (sorry, pet peeve of mine when they show the FL being a weak-ass person). Of course, the ex-boyfriend is a dick for breaking up how/when he did. Better off without him.

Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate that I have a chance to watch this series on Viki, but damn, could they please release episodes at the same time as other platforms? I keep seeing comments about shows that are available yet and I'm so jealous you guys are getting to watch before I can 🥺 🤣
