The novel starts out as a transmigration story for the FL so there is that difference to start. The body she is in now is the now deceased Mudan. Then pretty much everything else is different too. But it is about peonies. And a scum husband and family. The FL's husband is even more disgusting in the novel, has numerous concubines and kids with concubines. And all the family and concubines treat the FL like dirt. But the FL's family loves her and treats her well. That's just the beginning. Lots more differences as you go on. 😉
Episode 26 This family is too much! Sitting outside the room listening, eating laughing🤣 lol! I don't even know what to say. How long is this mistaken identity going to last?🤣 Throwing him out the window naked, then the father carrying him to the clinic on his back, through the streets, in broad daylight, naked!🤣 And the mother cluelessly, gleefully, telling the story about the naked man! This family is everything! 🤣 The princess protection detail!🤣 Eating the watermelon all day only to realize he used the wrong house! 🤣 Ok, we just finished episode 26 and this series is still hysterically funny! I hope it stays this good. 🤗

That could have been a fun scene! Missed opportunity. Zombie cat? 😹 Even at this emotional bit they throw out a line and crack me up! And...he's back! Kind of anti-climatic Wait, when did he get ear buds!🤣🤣🤣 Nice body! 🤣 Yep, we were all saying the same 😉 Emotional roller coaster with Lord Wei! (nice slaps BTW) I think I've decided that he is a good guy after all. But he's giving off 'I'll sacrifice my life for you' kind of vibes🤨 ooh, what is that pill going to do to him? What is he going to lose? 🤔 We need more episodes!
Yang Zi is just incredible. I can't believe how hard I was crying over that scene! She broke me for the day! And Li Xian's character is pretty close to how I imagined him in the novel. This is pretty good so far!
Hair and makeup for the ladies is really weird and distracting in this show. I swear Yang Zi doesn't look like herself at all! If I didn't know it was her I would not have recognized her at all. Even the shape of her face looks different.🤔

I imagine in the future she'll be kidnapped and he'll have to rescue her, putting himself and his friends in danger. Maybe this will happen a few times. But that's it.
