Ok guys i rewatched the last scene in ep 4, and for me it seems like ml already knows its fl in this phone call, becuase he's a lot more calm than before, and focuses on Hui Ju rather than the blackmailing. It sounded like he just wanted to comfort her. Idk tbh if I'm tripping because of postponing the episodes this week but I'm going crazyyy
On surface in might seems like that but he is such a green forest bro 😭
How do u explain what he did in their wedding then? Even before that... the fact that he was the one who decided she will replace her sister is idk... he didnt even tell her. he instead labelled her as fake since day one and forced her to take off her accessories and acted like it was her fault. Many more... at the begining of their marriage life she tried so hard to make a propper relationship with him but he pushed her away in a really hurtful way. Now he's wondering why she doesnt care about him. Seriously!!!
I don't deny that he "cares for her safety" but srsly wdym "he tells her almost everything" like they barely communicate together, and whenever they do, he almost always wants her to do something. He literally forces her to, like the dinner party he made her attend a day after she was kidnapped.
We don't know the full picture yet... there are alot of missing pieces so I don't want to judge too fast, but the things I mentioned above couldv'e certainly unfolded in a better way no matter what the situation the ml was in. He has potential tho
EDIT: after rewatching some episdoes, I figured out that he married her as a replacement to her sister because her gold digger mother wanted to marry her off to a really bad guy apparently, so he did that to save her (it looked like he had feelings for her since the start). So I dont really blame him for doing that anymore. Much better than ending up with a good for nothing guy
I probably wont be able to watch any episodes next weekend due to my final exams so i was excited for this week :/ oh well
From ep 5 trailer it seems they'll get closer next episode, too bad theyre not releasing any this week :(
he's so hot omg
