Ngl, I waited so long for this that I straight-up went ahead and read the novel (simplified chinese ver. for the…
The fact that the OG novel is always better than the drama adaptation is exactly why I plan to not read the novel. If I read it then my expectations for the drama will be very high and it'll just leave me disappointed. Also I haven't found any English translations :( I'm a very impatient person but I force myself to wait all the time. There are rumors that LOTFG will air August 4/5. I've waited for more than a year, surely I can wait for a few more months right?
Guys, at this point, I've been waiting for this drama for over a year. I really hope we will all like it and it will meet our expectations and satisfy our hearts after a long time of waiting. I'm saying this as I had not-so-great experiences waiting for Legend of Anle and Wonderland of Love. The latter, especially, had horrible production and CGI effects, which made me drop the entire thing. I tried giving both dramas many chances because I still had that spark and excitement waiting for them for a long time, and the synopses were so good. But I just couldn't.
OMG I'm so sad! He's my only regret. Why not let him just be seriously injured and saved by the heart-protecting…
Omg did they srsly change the novel's happy ending!! Thats insane π Ig everything would've been too perfect had they let him live... You know what? I'll just pretend he never died and returned with the orchids, proposed to Xiao Tao, and got the approval from her mother. They lived happily ever after and gave birth to a cute chubby daughter π₯Ί
Iβm at episode 35 and Wei Liang π₯Ίππ omg why did they let him dieee!!!! My poor Xiao Tao was waiting for him :( Id rather Da Qiao and Bi Zhi die 500 times instead βΉοΈπ The whole time from the moment he died I was hoping he was secretly alive and escaped. Even when he was found hanged by the other general, I was still hoping he opens his eyes or start fighting with him when he lost his hand π Ughhhhhhhh
We need an AI in MDL.Settings for AI:* Rage comments = hide* Anti-fan comments = hide* Civil and constructive…
What do you mean by anti-fan comments? If they were straight on hate and harrasment then sure. But if someone genuinly dislikes the drama/actor for a good reason, they should be allowed to criticise them (without mocking). Take KSH for example.
They reminded me of how my sister, who is a hospital nurse, was annoyed with the screenwriters of Queen of Tears…
Oh god I was also so annoyed by all the health stuff in QoT! Starting from the fact that they operated on her brain but she did'nt have any bald spots (they normally shave the hair in the place they will operate on) but I get that this is impossible so they could've at least covered her head with something ππ And the patient guardian situation was also funny, not just from a health prespective but also legally. My friends in law commented on this too!
I understand you .Medical dramas don't reflect the real struggles in the medical field and they are dedicated…
That's true. Actually this is one of few dramas I noticed actually care about the details. I get that it's hard to mimic the hospital setting perfectly, and for the actors to pretend they're medical experts. But then again, it won't hurt to hire healthcare experts in the production crew.
Don't judge me, but as a medical student, I got so triggered by watching the first 2 minutes of episode one. Firstly, the doctor should not be touching the patient's blood without propper protection and gloves on!! The blood splash on her face is so unhygenic wtf. Secondly, doctors should never let anyone with long nails operate on the patient WITH NO GLOVES!! Not to mention that they're letting a doctor run around with fake nails where is the code of cunduct and professionalism!
But then I realized she was just dreaming πππ The actual medical surgery scenes look fine as of ep 1
why was fyx so mad at her in ep 23? bc she went inside the palace and threatened the consort without telling him…
Same, I was so confused with this scene as well. Before she entered the palace when he got her down the carriage, they looked like they both knew what is going to happen. But then all of a sudden when it did happen, the ML is mad at her. Did anyone understand the scene?
For now im assuming its "for the plot" and they didn't take into acount the scar issue. But there's a high chance…
I usually try to not analyze stuff before they get revealed so it doesnt become confusing later on, especially that cdrama plots tend to always have many loop holes. But now that you've mentioned it, it makes so much sense! Smart analysis π―

I hope we do not get disappointed this time.
