gotta love it when a woman weaponizes her own disability, cause of a misunderstanding, which could have been cleared…
The ml is the one who lacks communication skills, and he made them end up in this situation. Look at day 1 (wedding day). idk if u watched episode 4 but the fl tried to make a propper relationship with him many times but he was the one pushing her away in a very hurtful way idk maybe to "protect her" but it just made things worse and even put her in danger.
The fl might have selective mutism or whatever, but they could've still communicated well if the ml actaully put in effort. We still dont know the full picture tho, maybe he secretly learned sign language to understand her but never got the chance to use it.
I wouldn't call the fl's situation "disability" because she isn't a mute, she was just forced to act like one by her sick gold digger mother. So technically she is using the fact that no one knows she can talk to her advantage but I wouldn't describe it as "weaponizing". Its not like she was guilt tripping him or milking him out with the excuse that she's a mute. She was just telling him her feelings because she had no one to talk to. Idk if I described my point well its hard to lol.
I also understand everything the fl is doing. She's basically trying to blackmail him so she can get out of the shit situation she's in. Imagine being forced to marry in ur sister's place and getting locked in a 3 year marriage with no emotions or communication, having a horrible mother and in-laws, and worse being forced to act mute in front of everyone on top of everything. She's literally being SILENCED. Some things she's doing now are just stupid (like taking pics of her thighs for no reason, and it created a huge misunderstanding) but I don't blame her, she suffered alot.
correct me if im wrong isnt the word unnie more intimate or like informal and its usually used between females. he probably knows her personally... ngl im suspecting her psychiatrist college friend T-T
Kinda sad there is no character development for the fl at all. Also, their relationship was so rushed. The ml's feelings were brewing for a good 10+ years, but they didn't give the fl enough time to process her feelings and think about their relationship. Also, they showed us the ml's development and feelings, but it wasn't deep enough for us to see what he actually liked in her... Idk tbh, first it was a pure brother-sister bond, then his feelings for her changed. Why exactly? Ik the fl's character is likable enough and they had so much potential but why exactly? Everything was so conveniently rushed. Ngl I was also expecting the ml's mom to get a hard slap on her face for all that she's done, and to wake her up from her delulu state, but the finale felt too light for her tbh.
the cdrama fans coming together to mass like each others' reviews you are all being embarrassing i hope you know…
They need to realise that FBC isnt a translation of GA, but an adaptation which means the kdrama's main story was based off the chinese one, but just copy-pasting all of the scenes and details makes the whole project useless. Of course, the OG drama is special obv because it the OG, and I feel like many people will probably like the one they watch first more.
ok i just want clarification about her decision at the end of ep 14. did she decide to take the offer of killing 10 sinners so she can live as a human? or is she going back to hell
idc what anyone says its still so illegal that its gonna be a romance.. She literally sees him as her brother....
i dont believe in opposite gender friendships or "see you as my brother/sister" relationship irl (unless they're young, but they arent anymore so no) so im fine with this troupe as well. i see it as childhood besties to lovers ig?
It burned my heart ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ the tension ๐ฎโ๐จ
