Was a bit disappointed with most of episode 3. The ending was good. Hoping episode 4 gets better again.
I've noticed with many dramas that usually the second episode of the week will be better because there will be a time gap until the next episode and this creates tension for us viewers when they add cliff hangers at the end.
in love with this drama. ml and fl have top-notch acting and the chemistry is amazing... its rare to have good dramas these days where the story, production and actors match the standard 🔥
ok im confused about the ex. i thought they broke up because he cheated on her? i remember there was a scene at ep2 maybe and it showed how when she was at her lowest and got kicked out of her work, she tried calling her bf but he wouldnt reply and so she went and saw him in a bar cheating on her or smth... i suppose the ex doesnt know that he was found out but how can the fl still act normally when he's around. ok she's uncomfortable and all but thats normal considering its her ex.. but the fact that shes fine with him being there when he was unfaithful is so confusing?

yeah well ppl used to do it all the time, its a human nature after all. but why do they have to include such scenes when its clearly NOT a porn show? there's basically no context to them relative to the plot... and just because something exists back then doesnt mean it has to be included unless its relevant to the plot. lets say humans nowaday build doors, but they did too long time ago. that still doesnt mean the drama has to include building doors just to let us know that it used to happen back then too??? i didnt even mention anything about it being Korean or American or whatever, thats not the point.
omg i thought the ex and mistress are the bad characters but its actually the new assistant!!!! like girl wtf she fr bit the hand that fed her.... its really abvious that Su Li had to act that she doesnt know Wang Gang when the debtors came!!! yet Gang took it too personally and she didnt realize that her husband is using her cuz what are the odds that he decides to come back right when he's in a tight spot because of his debt. at this point she's completely given up her common sense and is just craving acknowledgement from him to the point were she betrays the friend who helped her!!!!! villains who are smart are actually fun to watch and i wont really "hate them"... however Gang is just purely blind and delusional to reality...
they tried to create tension with all these explicit scenes but its just very unnecessary... like the drama couldve done better with the plot itself and the acting. adding these scenes is them trying so hard to create more suspense but its working the opposite way (at least for me). not to mention the historical inaccuracies i feel like the great cinematography and actors and budget were wasted by this and also the horrible editing... dropped it and i need clorox to cleanse my eyes from this shitty crap

she joined the family purely for greed after their wealth. she clearly had a plan set by sending her son abroad; she knew she would bring him back. ig her hate for them grew when they started treating her badly because she's the "mistress" + you can also tell that she's not normal... like she has paranoia and delusion that's what I understood, but it would've been better if they added more backstory instead of the cliche filler scenes :)
I don't think I'll watch this drama now, even though I waited for more than a month for the finale. All the sweet…
bruv either watch the series while ongoing: ur gonna have ur heart torn every single week and wait impatiently for the next episode like ur an addict or smth... or u control urself and watch everything after the finale... when u dont watch the show but see spoilers and stuff, it becomes boring

dw the preview shows her in the future, walking, so that means she was able to change her fate of having impaired legs. the ml probably saved her from the accident/kidnapping
