the only issue i really have with it so far is i feel like they're trying so hard to push a romantic side plot…
yeah that's what i thought, i feel like they might & kinda have sort of tried to start showing that guo yan cares for her but like you said it doesn't come across as romantic to me, but yeah overall the attempt at romance isn't necessary for this drama i'm glad it's kinda minor so i can ignore it, maybe they'll realise that too and they realise they're all better off as friends 🤣🙏

it's supposed to be a love triangle, xue tian likes xiao xiao but xiao xiao likes guo yan from the episodes i've seen up to (ep 14) i think
