They have been a support pairing in other series. I like the actors as a pairing a lot but I can see why some people can’t connect with them in this. And everyone has different tastes. Luckily there are 3 other pairings for those that don’t see it.

I doubt we will meet that person, but it definitely was not Mic. I can’t remember their name. Sorry.

If it follows the book, the only conflict they have is related to the PhumPeem conflict. The conflict is around Phum and Fang’s dad. But that issue affects Phum and Peem much more than Tan and Fang. The just have to be away from each other more than they want. I don’t want to spoil everything. Other than that, they don’t have big issues. In the book they argue a lot over dumb things, but always make up. We find out in the 10 year future they broke up for a short period of time, but I don’t think we are getting any of that in this show.

The couples from the book are PhumPeem, QToey, and TanFang. Pun actually has another love interest other than Chain in the book. But the show made ChainPun a couple so it’s possible there were be romances between other people that weren’t in the book. I think Matt and Mic had girlfriends in the book and Kluen liked Peem.

Yeah, but they get together a lot earlier in the novel. They are already a couple by the time the QToey reveal happens.

Beer is just part of the group of friends in the novel, same as in this show. He’s very popular and charming. He plays in the band with Q. He’s not an engineering major in the novel, he’s just been friends with Phum since HS. He also has a maybe love interest that I don’t think we’ll meet in this series, because I am not sure anything happens in the novel. I forgot.

As for the other couples there is a lot. What do you want to know?

I have read the book and there isn’t anything there. Honestly. They are just best friends. Q worries that Peem is too nice. He also has been suspect in the series about what is going on with Peem and Phum too. But I think he’s just worried about him and in the book he expresses some concern that Peem gets so wrapped up in Phum. He is partially kidding, but I think there is an element of truth. But in the book they are just very close and have been for years. I think the show is just trying to show us how much they care about each other and maybe it’s just a little more than the rest of their group of friends.

If you are in the US, Canada, or Thailand they only have some of the eps up. They seem to be about a month behind. IQIYI gets the rights in those countries. So you can find 7-10 on IQIYI or use a vpn set to another country to watch on YT

Yep. Not a couple in the book at all. Chain is straight in the book.

And no, TanFang aren’t mains either. Several of the actors and Director New have said PhumPeem and QToey are main couples and Peem and Q are the main characters. And it’s also set up that way from episode 0 if you watched that. And they are also treated differently than the others in the credits.

But it is an ensemble show so it doesn’t really follow your typical Main/side couple thing. All of the 8 characters are important to the story, but PhumPeem and QToey will get more development in their relationships.

But I have have my fingers crossed for good stuff from Chain and Pun coming up.

I just wanted to clarify that ChainPun aren’t really main characters, It says so here on MDL but the show and people involved have said the mains are PhumPeem and QToey. However, I’m sure it’s coming and I get wishing we got more. Now that their part in the QToey story is done, I think their storyline will get going. They also were not a couple in the book so no one really knows how their romance will go. I’m very curious and hopeful to see how it happens. why is it weird? Not everyone is the same.

I am not sure what you are waiting for but I am pretty confident the series is not going to completely change between now and the end. We have had 10 episodes. This is the series. So if you aren’t enjoying it then maybe it’s just not for you. I wouldn’t waste your time anymore, wait until its over and check out if you got what you wanted from it after all.

Maybe they both like how they other is.

It’s not because of the actor change, they reshot everything. I think they were always meant to be a couple that develops later in the series because of the need for Chain in the QToey story

In my opinion, no. I love them in this, and I could not stand FUTS and thought NLMG was a drag. I did sort of enjoy the Our Skyy 2 : NLMG ok though

I think they all have good chemistry, but all different. And I am enjoying all the storylines much more than I expected to.
