All are listed as main characters here, but it has been said by the cast and director that that there are 2 main couples (PhumPeem and QToey) and 2 side couples. And Phuwin said Peem and Q are the main focus characters. There won’t be any changes to that. The 2 main couples will continue to get the most focus. QToey only got the most focus on the last episode. Before that I am not sure how anyone could think Toey was the main character. We’ll probably see the other couples get typical side couple screen time. So they’ll get development but it will likely be slow and not a lot of focus.

The cast traveled to Chiang Mai for reshoots today. I think they’ll finish soon now that LOL concert is over.

I enjoy it a lot. I’d say if you think you like slice of life university dramas about real friends with multiple couples that is goofy but mostly chill with some emotional and heavy moments, then give it a try. If that doesn’t sound like your thing or you like heavy plot, maybe its not for you.

TanFang are a side couple so their development will probably be mostly behind the scenes and only shown sporadic to the audience. But I’m sure we’ll have more coming to us.

Yes, they are dating in the novel already when we meet them. They are different in the series. Their personalities are different so far. They have a cute back story from hs I hope we see or hear about. In the novel they live together next door to Q and have a bunny. They fight a lot in the novel based mostly on insecurities but they are also all over each other all the time and love each other a lot. They have some angst around Phum and Peem’s major angst in the novel, but it’s not about anything internal in their relationship.

If you want to know something specific, ask it. You asked for the plot for each couple, it’s not easy to do in 2-3 lines.

Yes, it’s mostly about their college life. I don’t know if there is a time jump in the series, but the novel has special chapters that takes place 10 years later. But most of the story is through college and I think that will be the series.

It’s too much to share the entire plot of the novel or for each couple. And only 3 of the couples are in the novel. Chain and Pun aren’t a couple in the novel. I agree with you in general, and I don’t think the show would escape this issue anyway because none of them do, but it’s worse in this series because of all the reshoots. Q, Matt, Tan, Phum are all having hair continuity issues.

But the stuff leading up to finding out, the talk with Peem and the flashback to the talk with Toey are meant to give you an understanding of where Q is coming from. You don’t need to have read the book. In the book you get his reaction to finding out who Toey is before you find out everything anyway. Storytelling doesn’t always need to be linear.

He was surprised. He has very complicated feelings about Milk Frappe Boy as he told Peem. He also opened up to Toey about his feelings for that boy when they were at the cafe, which we saw in the flashback at the end of the episode. And Toey did not tell him then. And based on the book we are likely to get more of his perspective on their history.

But he was hit at that moment with this guy he likes being the other guy he likes and feels very conflicted about who knew their identity and kept it from him. And all his friends being in on this secret that was kept from him.

When he talked to Peem it was clear he wasn’t mad just upset. Sometimes people just have over the top emotional reactions in the moment. They both did. They are just different.
