I don’t know how much you actually want to be spoiled for. But they have a history with each other and you can get hints of it in the trailer and in the stuff they talked about in the QToey part of Episode 0. Short version: They used to talk to each other before college via post it notes and Q doesn’t know that it’s Toey. I really am liking this series much more than I expected. I read a lot of the book and did not love it, but I was interested in the friend and couple dynamics. The director also had me concerned.

I am really loving Q and Toey. I have read their parts of the novel, and I really liked parts of their story but there were other parts I wasn’t sure about. I do really like the changes they have made so far, and I am really impressed with how Winny and Satang have played this. Especially Winny, because I think Satang always shines. Excited to see how it develops.

I am liking PhumPeem enough but they are a little boring for me right now.Pond and Phuwin do have great chemistry though. Also have to say I like Phum in this so much more than the book.

I can’t wait for more Tan Fang, and I am very interested to see what the Chain and Pun storyline will be like. I am liking them a lot too.

I hope it keeps up. But if not I’ll just spend a lot of time on 2x speed.

Damn this is exactly how i feel about Pond and Phuwin too. I actually enjoy them a lot together and apart and their chemistry is good but the kissing takes me out a bit. At least GMMTV shows never have a lot of kissing scenes so it’s easy enough for me to not to pay much attention to theirs.

To add a little more: The main characters are art majors and they spend a lot of time on that. The main group of friends have been friends since high school. I am not sure what else to add that wouldn’t spoil it. But those things could also be in the blurb up there so they seem safe.

Yes the show and the novel it’s based on are about a group of college friends. There are 4 romances. But it will be about their friendship and the romances.

Ratings on MDL, especially Thai shows, never make any sense to me. They never play into whether I decide to watch something unless it’s super high or low.

Yeah. And amongst the couples so far it seems the same. PhumPeem were always going to be the main couple because the novel is mostly from Peem’s pov with QToey a 1b/2. TanFang should also get a good amount of time because they were featured a lot in the book too. Chain/Pun aren’t even a couple in the book, so their romance storyline is going to be new. They also seem to have changed Pun’s characterization a bit, which is fine by me.

I’m not sure their part was cut down due to reshoots. Based on the original trailer and the book the division of time amongst the couples seems the same to me so far.

The novel is from Peem’s perspective, but there are special chapters from other’s perspectives, which help flesh out their stories that are not just from Peem’s perspective. There is a big Q and Toey plot we get from Peem’s perspective and some side chapters to flesh it out. The series will need to set that up. And Tan and Fang have their story told mostly through special chapters. And then we have a relationship (Chain/Pun) that is not in the book. So it really needs that many episodes. Lets hope its done well.

It is a long novel. I think it’s 4 books with 70+ chapters plus special chapters. There are some big storylines coming up. I am not surprised it will take 16 episodes. More in next post under a spoiler tag.

I enjoyed it. But it’s kind of a ridiculous comedy that gets better as you go along. But if you like campy comedy and the actors in it: Nanon, Film, Pond, Jennie, Godji… then you’ll probably enjoy it.

Unless you are keeping on top of news of this show or all GMMTV news in general, it would be very easy to not have any idea.

Pawin was suspended by GMMTV more than halfway through production and he was replaced by Poon and they reshot all his scenes. There is a lot of drama and conflicting stories around his issue. But he was accused of domestic violence and it is currently being investigated. You could google his name or his name and GMMTV and you can find out more.

I was not a fan of the previous one, even before everything.
