It hasn't been confirmed yet that pawin actually did it. So why are you accusing him without even knowing if it…
Did you not read the first part of the sentence? âIf proven guiltyâŚ.â No need to go around caping for someone who was accused of violence. Just wait and see.
This was my most anticipated series of 2023, I was its biggest cheerleader for 7 episodes. It was sooooo good,…
I completely disagree about Karan and Achi not behaving like adult characters. They are very mature, and much more mature than a lot of GMMTV BL pairings. But we can agree to disagree there. But what I donât understand is why would a younger actor play Achi, when Achi is basically Newâs age? Being adult does not always mean you are experienced. Experience does not equal maturity. The whole point is that Achi is 30 and so inexperienced with extremely low self esteem.
my biggest problems was the hugs at the end.. it's 2024.. I'm sorry but a confession scene needs to have kissing…
I suspect you may be from a western country from this comment. Which is ok. But as others have pointed out, itâs not actually what you would expect from these situations everywhere. Itâs important to recognize cultural differences.
They definitely give off a more serious vibe which does make this version stand out differently. Still kinda disappointed…
I personally like the more mature vibe from the trailer. I was very worried they would try to do the more goofy and clumsy thing, and was not looking forward to it from GMMTV. So I hope they keep this going. I did originally think it would be better with Tay and New switching characters, but thatâs based solely on their real personalities. But they are actors, so itâs nice to see them play different than themselves. And to be honest, I think Tay is better when he plays against type.
OMG.. So much negativity.. Wont u grab the chance to go back in time & undo any decisions u made.. Or r u angry…
Alex didnât have the entire perspective that the audience had. He was apologizing for being terrible to Jean after they slept together, but he doesnât know every little thing that happened. He doesnât know everything she experienced. And no one is defending Alex. He made bad choices in a life or universe he has no recollection of. He learned from those things, and decided to make different choices in his real life. Jeanâs trauma never happened in this reality. There is nothing to fix. Alex just made different choices based on what he learned.
oh i wasn't expecting the reveal to be that alex raped her :/ how am i supposed to even slightly root for alex…
Itâs an important discussion about informed consent. I donât know that it constitutes rape, but it still doesnât make it ok. I also am not sure he processed what she was saying in the moment. Which is still not ok. And she has the rights to her feelings about it. Donât have sex if you are that intoxicated and canât or donât get informed consent for each step.
Only technically. There are other laws that effectively make it 18, especially if someone contests it. And why…
I donât think its as simple as that. There are instances of people being targeted and charged. I donât know what the conviction rate is, but that doesnât really matter. And maybe he wouldnât be convicted of statutory rape, but that doesnât mean he shouldnât be concerned about 1) having sex with someone under a legal age, whether or not they can technically consent (still a grey area in the law), and 2) someone accusing him of such and having to defend himself, and risking both his personal and professional life. Just because something might not technically get you thrown in jail for a long time, that doesnât make it ok.
I disagree that Newie is that relaxed because it is a non BL role. I am sure that is not the case. He has not…
Its also probably because this role and the show are a little more his style. Some of his more well known previous roles are completely opposite of him. I like New a lot, but he isnât the strongest actor, and so I would love to see him in more roles like this that play to his strengths.
Age consent in Thailand is 15 so this âI donât wanna go to jailâ from Army is pretty much unreal. The statutory…
Only technically. There are other laws that effectively make it 18, especially if someone contests it. And why would statutory rape not be a concern here?
