No they are the same. I think they are uncut from the live aired version in Thailand. But they are the same as far as I can tell.

As noted already, they aren’t taking everything from the novel only the major overarching themes. For example, in the book a bunch of these guys are players with women (remember that this book came out over 10 years ago where BL novels were all about the only gay for you plot), but thankfully that hasn’t made it into the show.

You are about to get a big QToey plot starting this week I think that should last several episodes. PhumPheem will have a big conflict probably towards later in the series, but there is also going to be a character that is interested in Pheem that comes in too. TanFang don’t have anything too dramatic, and ChainPun were not a couple at all in the book, so I can’t give spoilers there.

You shouldn’t expect too much conflict just for conflict sake, because the book doesn’t have that.

In my opinion isn’t is not messy at all. But everyone is different. It’s just about friendships and falling in love, but there is not a lot of drama or mess in the show from my perspective. Maybe some people don’t like that style of show or like the director and that is fine. The synopsis of the show is about a group of college friends and a bunch of them fall in love with each other. There isn’t that much more to it. If you like that kind of thing, I suggest trying 2-3 eps, because the 1st one is the roughest. But if that doesn’t sound interesting, just skip it!

It honestly depends on what you like. It’s a university set show about friendships with 8 main characters and 4 couples, though some get more focus than others. There isn’t a lot of drama and the plot is just friendships and people falling in love. It’s not even halfway through yet though, so you could always wait and just binge it later if you want to wait to have more info about the series.

They do have a bit of a backstory though. Like how they knew each other, and started liking each other. I hope we’ll get that in the series as a flashback.

Yes, there is absolutely enough material for 16 episodes. They have changed some things from the book, but the major beats are the same and where they are in the series follows with the book. There are at least 2 major storylines that need to happen over multiple episodes. The book and extra chapters cover multiple years but I am not sure if they’ll show time skips in the show or have everything take place contemporaneously.

I really like everyone in this and I am into all the pairings. I look forward every week to watching this nice simple show, which I realize is not for everyone and that is okay. But I have read the book and I did not expect to enjoy this as much as I do. I like WinnySatang and AuBoom pairings, so I was watching only for them but to be honest I was expecting a cringe show based on a decade old BL novel. I am honestly impressed so far. I hope it stays this way.

We should all thank the MSP writers who didn’t want to put Sound in a boring love triangle who found some Winny and Satang hashtags from FUTS era and ran with it for the that pairing.

There is no official english translations. A couple people have translated most of the novel and its extra parts on x. There is also someone who is currently translating the novel chronologically on one of the writing sites but i forgot which one. If you want to know the x accounts bewithppw did phumpeem parts and translatio_yoh has the qtoey and tanfang parts. But just a warning that it will spoil you because the show is following the novel pretty well, with some good changes to make it more modern because it’s based on a book from over ten years ago.

I think Pun is cute, but he hasn’t had too much screen time, so maybe that is why I can deal with his character being so ridiculous. But big agree to not even being able to imagine Pawin doing this character. Just the idea of it gives another reason to make me relieved he isn’t in this anymore.
