IQIYI or Youtube question answered by GMMTV twitter:
#WeAreSeries will be available on iQIYI application and iQ.com in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, North America and South America, exclusively in Thailand, America and Canada at 9:30 p.m. (ICT)
YouTube: GMMTV will live premiere We Are Series at 8:30 p.m. (ICT) worldwide except Thailand, America and Canada
Okay, someone in the US found it from IQIYI (and it said IQIYI only) but I can't find it (Europe)
I think if you manually search and it doesn’t show up then it wont be on IQIYI for that region and will probably be available on YT. But GMMTV has been very bad at communicating to international fans so it may not be known until Wednesday. Really hope it will be on YT somewhere.
im confused. I see it on YouTube. why would it not be there?
Yesterday they announced that at least for Thailand it will be on IQIYI. It’s unclear if it will be there for everyone or just those in Thailand. Usually these types of deals are usually for Thai viewers and they run it on YT for everywhere else. But it isn’t clear yet what this situation is.
PondPhuwin and JoongDunk are a mystery to me as to why they still get so many roles.. it baffles me..
Agree about Joong Dunk pairing. But I don’t mind Pond and Phuwin. I thought they had a fine dynamic in NLMG and I liked them even more in Our Skyy 2. But I did have to skip a big chunk of their plot in FUTS as they were extremely cringe to me. But they seem to be pretty popular and I think that is the main reason they get roles. GMM just likes to have a built in audience for everything.
It's a mystery to me as well😂 but I think it's mostly pretty privilege and money. Especially for dunk this…
I liked him in the Warp Effect too. Honestly I don’t understand why Dunk and Joong have a nice dynamic offscreen, but it’s so weird onscreen. It probably is Dunk, but I haven’t seen him in anything else to be able to judge.
im sorry but we better be getting two a week one a week is dumb especially for a long series ppl would lose interest…
I think it’s going to be just one a week. I’m not sure they could do 2 a week with how behind they are with reshoots. They still probably have at least a month left of shooting.
Now I am thinking that maybe that's why they didn't have much of poon and marc in the trailer. I wasn't really…
That’s probably part of it for sure. Poon hasn’t filmed that much yet in comparison to the others. I do suspect they will have the least amount of screen time as a couple, but also think they’ll get a decent amount of time overall.
I’m into this because I really like WinnySatang and AouBoom and I am excited to see them get bigger roles. I do also like PondPhuwin for the most part, though I had to watch most of their storyline in FUTS on 2x speed. I don’t really know Marc or Poon that well, but they look interesting enough in the trailer. It does appear to be a pretty generic university series based on the trailer and the parts of the book I have seen, but that can be really comforting so that is what I am hoping for out of this.
The director does give me pause, but I have enjoyed more than one of his series, so I am tentatively hopeful it won’t go too off the rails.
Can someone explain to me why Karan waited 7 years to make a move on Achi? Please...😀
While it’s never explicitly explained, I think we can explain some of it by what we learned about him when they went to visit his family. He had been conditioned to give up the things he had interest in that his family didn’t seem to approve of. He probably thought he would just love him in secret forever, especially since Achi didn’t really notice any of things he did or said to him. It wasn’t until Achi could hear his thoughts and he started getting more interaction with Achi, that he wasn’t able to keep it in anymore. We can see how he kept trying to hold himself back or when he was visibly upset when he thought he was making Achi uncomfortable with his big gay feelings.
I’ve enjoyed this series, but i find the relationship between Karan and Achi to be completely unrealistic. As…
It’s not realistic because it’s magical. The plot is based around one of these 30 year olds having a magical power and being afraid of losing it because he had zero confidence in himself when the series started, and he wasn’t yet confident enough in his relationship to feel like he could navigate it without the power. That’s the premise of the show.
Oh really? Interesting how people "see" different things. I was surprised how natural and in love Karan and Achi…
A lot of people can see themselves in these types of characters. Just because it doesn’t feel like 30 year olds you might know doesn’t mean that they are unrealistic. You don’t have to like this type of show, but all these characters feel far more realistic to me than most characters we get from bl series.
