I am curious about them and I am glad they are back together, but somehow I find them both quite miscast, unless…
I kinda agree with the miscast, and think they would be better in the opposite roles. but maybe they’ll change some things about the characters. We’ll see.
I haven’t gotten around to watching the original Cherry Magic yet, so I’m confused why people don’t like…
Some people don’t want their favorite shows remade. Others wanted their fave actors/couples to play in this show, so they are bitter. The original is great, and I recommend it. I wish Tay and New were playing the other’s characters, but I like them both and thinks they have good chemistry, so I’m gonna watch it.
And omg did he look like he wanted to be anywhere but on that stage during the showcase for this announcement.…
If New didn’t want to do this, he wouldn’t be doing this. He has no problems booking shows outside of GMMTV. It wasn’t a big announcement because they couldn’t show the trailer for it yet, even though they already filmed it.
I'm enjoying this, even with its problematic elements. I hope they actually grow as people. But wow do I really hate Teedo. I like Tay a lot, but whew this character is the worst. I do like Off and New's characters though!
I guess the sequence is - Kiss Me Again -> Dark Blue Kiss -> Kiss The Series. DBK is taking place between the…
Yes, this takes place before Kiss the series. And I think you can easily just ignore Kiss the series. The author wrote Blue Kiss (the Pete and Kao storyline in Kiss me again) after Kiss the series aired because she loved their chemistry. So she definitely changed up their personality. I just watch their scenes for the cuteness and ignore the rest of it and assume it's not really canon in the PeteKao relationship anymore LOL
Okay. So I’m loving the Kao Pete dynamics again, and I’m so excited to see them here. But I really hope we…
You can bet there will be more Pete and Kao because their popularity is the entire reason this series is even happening. But Sun and Mork are main couple in the book this is based on, so they will get plenty of screen time. I wouldn't worry.
Our Skyy is just a side episode of Kiss me again and the beginning of their relationship (They are not living…
I am not confusing myself.
I know that Our Skyy was just filler, but we've been told it takes place after they are done with school. But it's just filler, so it's not that big of a deal.
But DBK the book takes place before Kiss the Series. I don't know what the series will do, but again it doesn't really matter. They changed their characterization after Kiss the Series aired, so there is not really any point in paying attention to K:TS other than to see a few cute moments. The most important order is Kiss me Again (Blue Kiss) is first and then Dark Blue Kiss follows.
I think that this latest episode changed my feelings on this show a bit. I was watching it because I like the cast, but the characters except for Pat just weren't very likeable, and I wasn't sure how long I was going to go. But I like Win a lot more in this ep, he is becoming less ridiculous, and maybe will start acting like who he probably actually is. I also like the dynamic between Win and Pat. Hopefully I will get moments with Ple and/or Wang to make me want to root for them too, but right now they are just boring.
Our Skyy is just a side episode of Kiss me again and the beginning of their relationship (They are not living…
I don't believe this order is correct.
I believe the timeline order is like this:
Kiss Me Again - the lead up to them dating Dark Blue Kiss - which is filming now, but still only dating for less than a year, I believe. Or at least this is how I believe it is in the book. Kiss: The Series - the first show that was filmed, but they had been dating for a few years already Our Skyy - They were living together in this, and they were definitely already having a full physical relationship as lovers (they became intimate in kiss me again before they ever started dating). I think they were also supposed to be out of university, but I think it was left purposely a little vague. I think it makes sense that Kao was wanting to do things like hold hands, etc if you look at it from the perspective that Pete only ever wants to have sex and Kao wants to do more actual couple type things. The kiss was not a first kiss, it's just that a lot of Thai shows are just like that when it comes to kissing.
Now another confusing thing is that you can't really take their storyline in Kiss: The Series (K:TS) as canon. It was filmed before the author wrote Blue Kiss (their storyline in Kiss Me Again) and eventually Dark Blue Kiss. The author clearly changed some things about their personalities and so now Kao's jealousy over Sandy is K:TS makes no sense, among some other things.
I enjoyed the second episode, but I still have no idea what is really going on. I still can't really stand to watch the first episode with all that bad dubbing. It looks like maybe this is going to change up a bit here and be different than I expected, but I have no idea in what way. Going to give it a couple more episodes. I do like all the actors.
Part 1 of Wolf's 1st episode only has 53K videos in YouTube, then Part 2 dropped to 21K views. Basically, more…
I'm not sure you can really compare views for one show's penultimate episode vs a different show's first episode. That being said, GMMTV has brought this upon themselves. They have a popular cast and an expensive show (for their standards), and they messed up grabbing important hype for the first episode. They can still fix this, but its a real misstep here for sure.
I keep trying to go back and watch the first episode and I just can't make it through even the first half with the horrible dubbing. It's super cringey and takes away from every scene that has it. I am glad gmmtv listened to the feedback early and is going to air it how it is meant to be, but it should have never even happened in the first place. I think this cast is all awesome, and it would have been shame to have to skip it entirely because of a bad decision in post-editing. So I am glad for the cast that we'll get to see the rest of the series how they acted it.
The series is good but the dub ruined it. So dissapointing
GMMTV just tweeted they will be airing the original filmed version and subtitles from Ep 2 on. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to only release the dubbed version, but glad they listened to feedback and now I can enjoy the show without that mess.
Does anyone know when Episode 7+ will be subbed in to english? Is there a specific time when happens or just when…
Ep 7 english translation should be up on the official GMMTV youtube tomorrow. They seem to go up on Tuesdays. They are about 4 weeks behind the air date.
