On episode 8 and the only thing that annoys me is Xia Jie’s mother. I need to FF her scenes in order to keep…
Xia Jie's mom has PTSD. She's afraid that her daughter will follow the same path as her husband. Mental health is not something that is easy to understand, unless you or someone you know been there.
I don't understand the recent change of episode count. Each case is supposed to be one episode. Since there are supposed to be 10 cases, it's 10 episodes. Each episode have three parts: 上, 中, 下. It's not individual episodes. Now it's super confusing and annoying.
That sentence Ms. Pi said “she will never rat out her students” really got me thinking of her personality and character. She is still very grey but I believe she’s the type that is strict on the outside and soft in the inside. She definitely have feelings for the other person in the photo she always looks at. So it got me thinking what if she and the previous headmistress were friends. They are both alumni of Hosoo Women’s University. And the headmistress hatred towards Ms. Pi is pretty obvious but to hate someone one must first have feelings for them. Something must had happen that cause them to split and Ms. Pi went to Germany.
But beside the other person in the photo, Ms. Pi seems to care for Boon-ok, at least more than everyone else. She knows her family’s background and problems but still hired her. She know Boon-ok steals from the other students but instead of punishing her, she tells her to stop and put the things back without them knowing. Then she ask Soo-ho to add her onto the list when they first planned to release some hostages. So, Ms. Pi clearly have a soft spot for Boon-ok.
So, there are two women who Ms. Pi deeply cares about. How do they connect? I believe with Boon-ok’s sister. We know her sister is older and I have a feeling she was previously a student at Hosoo’s. And just like Ms. Pi have a soft spot for Boon-ok, maybe the previous headmistress have a soft spot for Boon-ok’s sister. Since the previous headmistress has passed, maybe Ms. Pi is continuing what her the previous headmistress is doing by protecting Boon-ok. I know this is long and my theory might sound strange but that’s the only thing I can think of why Ms. Pi is super nice and protective of Boon-ok.
In the end when all of them tried to escape I thought Young Ro will stay behind in the dorm to save soo ho
I don't think so. She did all this because she wanted to leave to see her brother one last time. I believe SH will crash into her last minute to prevent her from leaving. That's why she was crying in the preview.
No, the four bell announces the dead of the emperor. He can't fake his death. It's like betraying his own country. Plus he was already very sick at that point. The last scene was obviously added to soothe the audience's emotions.
Aaaaaaaaa they just announced the cast !I love Jeremy Jones Xu . He's a great actor and he can pull of serious…
For me it's the opposite. I liked Yang Chao Yue in Dance of the Phoenix. She did well especially since it's her first acting project. But I don't like Xu Zheng Xi. I find his acting too cringy. I hope everything goes well at the end.
