I don't get why is a test for only his dedication to her. It's all about her, what about her secret? Where's her hesitancy here for the thing she conceal from him? Her blocking him with all that arrogance, I don't know where MZY should put trust with. The way she treated MZY here like they never met before and always an enemy.

She didn't even told him that, her action clearly blocking him without trying to have room for discussion. She didn't even try to say "trust me". There was no communication here for both.

Thank you. Also, Changxi Palace was booted out of Chang'an due to what demons did but they didn't allowed to have grudges? The demons has been reigning there since the disaster but they still play victim. There should be redeemable points for both side not just the mortal side.

Honestly I was disappointed with WZ's action and reaction at the barrier breaking scene. She should have the hesitation of blocking MZY from breaking the wall. Both of them have known that the other Celestial Master might already been in Demon World so why bother blocked him from entering and not to mention she's so fierce and determined here as if MZY already commited the act of harming demons. MZY's reaction and expression here is more in line, he hesitated and conflicted. With her being fierce like that then they arrive seeing his bros being tight up like that and preaching about demon world? I can't empathise with her sermon. It's like seeing 2 different characters. I prefer Snake Lord's character here. She didn't have the air of arrogance that she usually give to Mei Si. She wants people to understand the Demon World. Mind you, WZ was born and in demon world for just 18 years and during these years, there was no Celestial Masters wiping out demon, so why did she bear the grievances deeper and very arrogant in her preaching? I really like her when she comforted YZ after White Camellia died.

I can count MZY only appears like few seconds for the work related scenes. Few dialogs then immediately change to another scenes. The drama didn't even show how he prepared charms to help his bros and it was all explained by Shuang Jiang in ep27 while WZS's every single movement can be seen visualized for audience. This is so frustrating.... I'm tired seeing the evil plan was being elaborated than the plan to 'save' Chang'an.

I agree, I feel like he appeared as filler, the drama didn't care to explain his arc unlike WZS, Snake Demon and Mei Si. It's hard to follow the plot if they omit the development of ML. It's mostly based on deduction.

How did MZY knew he's the one who helped him?

Yes, the scene for 2nd Bro to come to MZY's aid should be expand so that we can know the direction for the 1st Bro intention in targeting MZY. So far it's left to audience deduction and imagination of what's happening. It's kinda frustrating.

From the gist of the dialog, it seems that MZY thanking 2nd Bro for coming to his aid during the punishment but I don't know how did he helped him because I didn't see him doing anything and it's the sword that coming to MZY's aid when the 2nd punishment continue. Maybe they cut something here.

I think they must have cut or skip the part where MZY was recovering after the punishment. 2nd Bro accompanied him out of Palace and sent him down the mountain until they reached the place where he gave him the horse. He must have been in recovery somewhere along the journey down the mountain and 2nd Bro is guarding him from being attacked. It's weird when the scene suddenly shift from after the punishment with all blood and weak body to MZY wearing new cloth and reached the place he left the horse. The journey must have been awhile because earlier we were shown about his journey walking up the mountain to Changxi Palace.

If I say men are more rational and moved on after break up, many people would definitely jumped on me to defend the women but don't you think this kind of woman is dragging the image of women in general? Whenever these women attacked guys without evidence they actually make it harder for the real victim to fight because people will start doubting real allegation.

seeing changxi palace bros make me understand why mzy was too stoic in the early eps. they basically void of emotion and their interaction is quite business-like. It's no wonder when mzy came down and interact more with people, he started seeing different light in everything. Mei Si's presence also helping mzy to fit in.

I don't think anyone that clean, even if they clean, it won't stop the jealousy and jealousy can transcends what left of rationality. The terms clean also differs by person so in the end no one can be pleased fully.
