I think MJ‘s mother needs bringing down a peg or two the way she treats her son is just terrible so maybe she needs a little dose of what she thinks it’s like to be in love with the wrong person. The difference is her son is in love with a good woman who Has worked hard most of our life to raise and support her family even her half siblings whereas her mother abandoned them and her father is just useless and for MJ‘s mother to look down upon her maybe she deserves to be taken advantage of by SJ teach her a lesson in humility and understanding

Don’t like this, I think it’s a slap in the face to their siblings for them to pursue this woman and think that she’s nice. They should know what it feels like to be abandoned because they were abandoned, and if it wasn’t for their older sister, taking care of them, they would have no idea what it’s like to live in a loving family with somebody responsible because their father certainly isn’t. , . No matter what their siblings bio mom abandoned them not just for a year or two, but for decades and to make her out to be a sweet, caring woman to me is just abominableThey’re gonna sugarcoat this and make it out like oh she was devastated. She had years to get over the fact that her husband cheated on her. She was their mother and should’ve checked up on them through all those years instead, she Lead a life of wealth and comfort so now she’s doing penance by working in a restaurant. I’m sorry that’s a slap in the face to all of us restaurant workers. I raised my daughter and helped her raise my grandson working in restaurants and I’ve never thought of it as a lowly occupation it afforded me more opportunities and money than I ever made working in a bank or office environment so that’s something else that I think needs to be addressed. Millions of us work in restaurants and love it … it is not a lowly profession as they’re making it out to be . Her punishment for abandoning her kids is to work in a restaurant, please what an insult.

Well, looking back on it now so some of it was fascinating,then again I’m 75 years old so yeah life’s experiences the older you get the more of them you’ve had and when you reflect on your past life experiences, they do seem to be a lot more interesting than they were when you were actually living them which could’ve been very stressful at the time but the old adage “we live and learn” can be true …

oh, I agree. She’s just a very ungrateful person blaming everyone else for her own Mistakes Even those who have bent over backwards to be helpful to her, But I think it’s gonna make for some laughs to watch their dynamics between the son , the mother and her At least I hope so. We need Some comedy in these long shows I think and their interactions could do that…

Again, I am hoping it’s what we used to call a “change of life, baby”👶 I’m 75 years old so I use the term Used back in the 1960s and earlier . I didn’t know about perimenopause till I was in my 40s& going through it. It wasn’t a familiar term. whereas women think they’re going through menopause and it’s actually a pregnancy which I think will be a wonderful storyline since it is possible and it is happening more and more even in the celebrity realm look how many women are having later in life 👶

I am in the me too vibe .I’m loving this and I’ve not even made it through the second episode yet. I’ve just laughed and laughed And will binge the next 2 1/2 episodes just to allow me to have a happy Monday. and that’s what I need right now in my life because of the real world situation happening that’s so distressing to a majority of us Americans…

It’s so obvious that GY will end up with HS. Maybe he’ll tame her Or his mother will. I hate the fact that she has these men come to her Aid when she’s such a ungrateful person blaming everybody else for her own mistakes and greed, but she’s an interesting character to watch too totally different from Her saintly Sister… If she keeps rejecting MJ Maybe she should become a nun Since for some reason, she feels, she doesn’t deserve to have a Good relationship with The man she loves… for a moment there, I thought maybe a HS p would get involved with MJ’s older sister Can’t figure out what her purpose is she doesn’t do anything and she’s an unmarried woman who’s close to 40 years old or older…

Yes, and how about this storyline?Y U’s forgetfulness , Is it the beginning stages of dementia I hope not Not or is it change of life Pregnancy… 🤰🏻 I’m hoping It’s pregnancy Which might change the hierarchy in the family as far as the male Lineage Which is so important in the Korean society…

Me too , I want to know the backstory between him and his stepmother. She’s not his bio mother & there’s. something mysterious about that , maybe this is his way of exposing everything that’s gone on since he was a teenager, but who knows

I haven’t finished watching the episode. I delayed Yes, I’ll do it it because it’ll be my early evening. Bedtime TV watching. I want to go to sleep tonight with a happy face. This will do it I think.

I don’t know she’s sort of naïve if she doesn’t realize the only reason he didn’t abandon them was because he needed her to support him. He doesn’t work she worked. She worked to support the family even to send her ungrateful sister to university If he had had somebody else, I’m sure he have been gone

Oh my gosh, I’m only episode two halfway through it. This is a riot. Oh, it’s just what I needed this day and age with the misery all around the world I needed to laugh and this has done it. I hope the rest of the series is as good as the first and part of the second episode. Well done yes it’s a bit adult, but it’s funny. I don’t know how the actors could’ve kept the straight face with all those sex toys “oh it’s my massager” I am LOLING ha ha ha ha This is so witty and so funny very clever writing whoever came up with us, especially for a K drama is a genius, A genius with a funny sense of humor well done so far ha !!! 😂 😂😂😂

Was that sort of the same thing he never reached out to them the daughter reached out to him and he never went about trying to help out her other kids so apparently he feels more comfortable with spoiled brats like his own daughter rather than a girl who has worked hard to help support&=keep her whole family together She’s the one who could’ve used his support and I’m not just talking financial support since he reached out to the bitchy Sister, he could’ve done something to help the others or at least offer to see what they were all about, but he didn’t…

I don’t get that either. I mean, the mother still abandoned them and now what she sacrificing herself by working in a restaurant and giving up her wealthy lifestyle sure that’s helping the kids a lot., and he apparently just likes helping out Brats, snobby entitled kids like his daughter because that’s the only one of the children that he’s helping , He has not reached out to anybody else in that family other than the bitchy sister why because he’s comfortable with a kid like that I guess because he has one of his own who’s just a self entitled brat
