I am praying this at least shows us something in the future versus going over everything again because we want an ending to the series although I hate that almost everyone is replaced in it. The chemistry in the drama was perfect, so this kind of a cheap ploy after that ending.
Keep me posted please if anything change on my second leads, I don't like the route is taking with those two,…
Oh, what role did he play in that? I think he's gonna be a second lead for a bit, but he has such a sparkle about him that I could see him getting a lead role.
The cutie doc/turned chef calls her out on her crap, and that's what started her out on her ridiculous chase of Jung Sun. He said Jung Sun didn't want her. lol I love him. He was so cute encouraging Jung Sun with Hyun Soo, who literally rejected two men in four episodes. :|
Hong Ah thought Jung Sun was just some regular guy chef when it turns out he's wealthy (and apparently was living off of money from his grandfather), so now he was up to her standards I guess. RME Now why she didn't know that I don't understand at all? In terms of details, there are a few major holes that kind of irk me.
I also am confused was the guy her sister was with the same one who is Jung Woo's junior? So many freaking cuties on this that it's hard to keep track, but anyways, I actually thought those two had chemistry where he said they're like brothers? LMFAO :) Heh.
Cutie doc/turned chef definitely is attached to Hong Ah's hip no matter how poorly she treats him. I was like why are you going to Paris with her when she went, and frankly, WHY did first lead male just believe her about the boyfriend without even checking? I guess it was to set up possible fake dating with Wook's character after the time jump.
I really feel both Wook's character and Hong Ah are used to having whatever they want in terms of people just being in awe of them (could he look any more gorgeous in those damn suits), and now they have two people who feel differently. I just want those two commiserate on that aspect of the show. There's a lot of ground to cover, so let's see what happens before saying it's impossible.
She intimated that she's losing it due to stress, but I was freaking out thinking, no, don't do something about an illness, please. Uncontrollably Fond made me a hot mess due to cancer. Please let's not make this more complicated and just make it stress related.
I think it was just to signify be careful what you ask for when it came to wanting her own show/being head writer, and she needed love in her life because something was clearly missing. I did like when he popped up out of nowhere before they went in the restaurant, and I'm truly shocked Jung Woo didn't figure out about them already. He seems to be five steps ahead of everyone, or maybe he does know?
Oh, yes, my lovely Wook is always waiting around for sloppy seconds. I just hope he said I won't take this part if you don't write it differently this time around. He knows his fans are sick of it as I see all of them say the SAME thing: WHY is Wook second lead. lol Be second lead, but give him some love too. Change the format already.
Keep me posted please if anything change on my second leads, I don't like the route is taking with those two,…
I get it, and I think so far I'm okay with it because it's not too over the top. If he starts being romantic and loving towards her as his character did in Bad Guy before he got stomped on, THEN, I'm gonna have a huge problem, especially if they try to flip it around as if he's at fault for her treating him as such, and then, he continues to beg for her love (awfully painful to watch that BS).
As for Hong Ah, gosh, talk about whiplash from going to being a friend who put them together and NOW desperate to split them apart. I happen to love the doctor turned chef BTW, and it's a shame she won't look his way because he's adorable and honestly too good for her IMHO the way she's acting.
She did have a moment where she was eyeing Wook's character, so maybe there's potential there for my idea the scheming together/then falling for one another. He just wasn't going to pay attention to her at that point because she was over the top during that meeting which was actually kind of funny but also irritatingly obvious.
Wook has the best chem with unfortunately the male lead, but he's like Ji Soo in that when he turns it on, then, we'll know what really works. He's not there yet, and from his back story, it makes sense that he's not.
I think his passion goes into other areas of his life because his father was failure in business, and I don't think she's gonna be the person to bring that out of him, which is why I still am secretly hoping this is just him wanting what he can't have and intrigued by it more than actually feeling deeply for her.
IMHO there are a lot of differences in this drama. I don't see it as in the same genre. It's a school time setting, and she has a crush, and I think that's kind of where it stops being the same drama.
I'm going to break it down because I feel people are selling this drama short:
1. Girl is more intelligent, independent and at times quite stubborn, doesn't follow that ditzy/shallow type of acting either. She had a goal in life that doesn't revolve around him but her own goals. Yes, we've veered away from that a bit, but she still had those before she met him with her running track.
2. He follows her more often than not. He said she is his BEST friend which tell me we saw that when any of the Kiss dramas/movies especially the first one? Male lead basically treated her as if she was a pest most of the time. They are also fated at birth which is different; he truly enjoys her company as a whole.
3. Mom and dad for a second tried to match them up, but they basically came together on their own not pushing them together when he comes to live with them, and mom is even pushing her towards Jin Li now. Papa Zhong is telling him to be careful because he doesn't think he's ready to being a relationship just yet. It went from friendship to getting deeper without the matchmaking on hyperdrive we saw in Kiss genre.
4. She really wanted to get away from him, but, yes, he followed her to college as well and NOW lives in her apartment building too. See what I mean about him following HER? I think now she may start to follow him a bit because she feels him pulling away, and it scares her, but I blame that on Jin Li's rant.
I mean how do you avoid someone who LIVES with you, and how are you supposed to let go of them in your heart? Any girl would be confused and unable to let go really. I think soon we're going to see her give up on that, and we'll see him back to following her as she starts to get closer to Jin, who probably will really fall for her.
4. He has a childhood trauma, so I think this is more like My Little Lover in terms of content. There was a kindness in that lead that I don't think we saw as much in the Kiss drama/movies, which is why the second lead became more desirable in most of them.
In My Little Lover, he shut down as a person, and Li Zheng has shut down as well, but Shao Xi was able to get in there. The same is said for My Little Lover (which by the way is really good if you haven't seen it).
5. She didn't beg him to be with her. He wanted to tutor her and challenge her on his own, and HE brought up going to the movies or celebrating with her, and then, he set up the guy who hurt her even to the point he threatened to kill him. :O
6. Also, as far as confessing anything, she kept it to herself. The bully outed her feelings she wrote down privately. She was devastated by that. The Kiss drama/movies were about a straight-up confession and WANTING that individual to know how she felt.
7. I just don't see why it has to be compared considering those guys were just mean and over the top mean at times, and he's more of not equipped emotionally to deal with everything although he really upset me that last episode NGL. I think he's really frustrated right now (second lead always in his face about his feelings) and making big mistakes, and there's going to be a breaking point soon enough IMHO, but I think it will be her leaving him as prefaced in the bridge scene of her video.
8. We have your typical second lead who thinks he's better for her, but he also has a second lead female who is after him and wants him and is jealous of Shao Xi, so that adds a new layer to it as well.
I don't know if Jin Li truly wants Shao Xi for shallow reasons or because she challenges him and no one else has and seems to get him. It could be a little of both probably as there seems to be this sincerity at times when I see him talk about her feelings as if he truly wants her to be happy even if it's not with him which is oddly refreshingly selfless, as we saw in his confrontation with Li Zheng.
I just think people are putting this in a Kiss genre area that it doesn't belong. I think, a, the acting is better (no offense to that genre) and, b, the story is more likable/realistic. Please no one take offense to my opinion on this as I enjoyed those Kiss dramas/movies for what they were worth, and this is goes a little deeper IMHO. I just want to give the real deal on this drama as I think it's really good, and I don't want people to say, oh, this is a copycat which it is not.
I'm not a fan of the teasing to be honest. I'm glad they like each other, but acting like a couple when…
Yeah, it is getting out of hand I would agree on that. I don't know how you would fix it at this point though because it's gone so far, and these fans seem to get more and more greedy because of it.
My main issue is that they will support them in BL, but if they do anything else say a hetero role, a lot of the support disappears, so they are getting pigeonholed. The guy who did Obsessed did a straight role, and do you think that's being subbed, paid attention to at all, nope. I feel bad for him, and I do actually want to see it.
I think at some point the sexuality and declaring whether or not they are gay or bi is going to be an issue. The greed is just getting worse because there's so much mystery that the fans make their own conclusion based on these fan events.
I really like Ohm/Toey, and they had such beautiful romantic chemistry that it is the one I do question a bit. I do think some of them have chemistry even if it's just a friendship chemistry where you kind of wonder still.
The one thing is these guys are really young in a lot of these, and it's almost like they are being taken advantage of like the boy groups back in the day or girl groups. Sometimes I feel weird about that as if they're too naive to know any better, and then, they just get caught up in the fame of it all, and by that time, it's too late.
Knock isn't a bad guy, he was not a bad guy in Bad Romance either. It's fascinating how Korn is always…
I don't hate Knock, but I think it's not fair to Korn for him to be as Athena said so indecisive because Korn loves him, and he's giving mixed signals constantly, so if he can be indecisive, I'm not going to begrudge the whole Mew situation with Korn. You wanted to be friends, Knock.
I also agree that he feels guilt when it comes to Pleng, yet he is the one cheating on her repeatedly, and I would feel sympathy for Pleng if not for the fact she knows what's going on, and she's been really dirty about her actions.
And by the way, I'm the one who said Korn isn't innocent a while back to someone else as he is pursuing Knock, but KNOCK is in the one who cheated here. He can't keep saying I was drinking if he knows where drinking leads, and clearly, he wasn't drinking this last time where they actually had sex.
As for the puppy dog eyes excuse, are we REALLY going to say that is enough to warrant cheating on his girlfriend? Knock had some kind of feelings for Korn that were simmering below the surface IMHO. I'm still kind of confused about the TL with them. Knock left Korn as a child, but they were keeping in contact the whole time during HS?
As for BR, I would rather not go there. I have a problem with these BL shows doing that triangle BS to push these guys regarding commitment. In the end, that all worked out, but I didn't like how Knock acted for the most part.
Wouldn't you know it just like the lead female was shocked by her realization of love, I was surprised by my love for this show as it kind of hit me tonight.
Love the bromance, but I think it's about to hit the skids by the end of next week. Wook and Se Jong are so undeniably cute at times in their interactions. lol Wook looks so amazing in suits (rolling around on the sofa are you kidding me), but this feels like Bad Guy all over again.
Wook's character is mysterious. He seems to have tried to close himself off emotionally. Even though he professed his love, it wasn't full of real warmth just kind of matter of fact. My hope is that he can find someone during the drama to show the love that is hidden in him that you almost see glimpses of when he's enjoying a meal (probably reminded of his the love from his mother when she cooked).
Hong Ah is a sad, hot mess, but ah-ha, second leads met tonight, so please more interactions there. I just was so disappointed how she's sabotaging in such an underhanded way. She had so much potential too.
And then, we have Jung Sun tonight stealing my heart. Oh, gosh, when he said you can tell me not to go begging her to do so, I was done. I'm officially shipping after that scene. He was killing me making me weep with that sad look in his watery eyes.
My heart went out to Hyun Soo as I too remember finally getting my ultimate goal and the disappointment that trailed right behind it. So sad how he was telling her his wonderful news, and she was crying on the other end of the phone, and his face was full of guilt and worry at the same time.
One of my fave scenes was Jung Woo confessing his love, and all it did was make her realize she was in love with Hyun Soo. The acting in that scene was really well done as he sat there at a loss, and after saying, hey, wait a minute what about me, he just merely comforted and put away his own confession. That small smile he managed said it all as if he felt the joke was on him in that moment.
"We only said goodbye with words." But our hearts were still connected...
What a freaking cliffhanger! I kind of wanted a passionate kiss NGL. lol :P
I'm so excited to see Wu in something else, but I have a feeling he's the husband she is no longer with, so we will see how that goes. Still, I just wanna see him again, so I will probably watch this regardless if he ends up second lead.
Did I see a Mew and Korn hug in the previews? I hope Knock sees that! Serves him right using Korn and then tossing him away for that annoyance again, and then he throws out that friends line again.
NOW he's worried about her feelings after he's cheated how many times? Please....
I'm not a fan of the teasing to be honest. I'm glad they like each other, but acting like a couple when…
You mean all of these fan events they where they play the what if game? Ha, ha, it doesn't bug me really. America would never do that. They'd be hounded by the paps here and are even if they have a whiff of being gay. I appreciate that Thai TV isn't afraid to go there, and I'm female, so I can't imagine how gay men feel.
The only time I get a little salty is that sometimes I feel they get more action than the hetero couples. The hetero couples barely kiss half the time unless you watch Lakorns. lol :P
I mean don't get me wrong I enjoy that kissing (heh), but spread the wealth a little bit. ;) Of course, I've mostly watched the BL, but when it's mixed, I see the difference in the set-up. I think they get what the draw is, and they skimp on the rest so far it seems.
Marina and Abe are back. Yuichi is in the first episode. I haven't seen Issei. Finally saw Daichi in episode…
So I take it they are living in a dorm now? Are they together? Ha, ha, sorry, I just want to know if we have to play will they or won't they be together again?
Oh, epi 9 get ready to be angry, or hopefully, it's not just me feeling this way. All these guys making all these decisions, and no one asks Shao Xi. I finally saw the smugness in Li Zheng today saying, "I know" to her about her not being with Jin Li. Then, he pushes her away after Jin Li goes on an asinine rant (although really someone needs to call him out already), but Jin Li is stalking her (moving next door along with her other stalker), and then, Yu Bin just gives in 'cause he's a shallow jerk.
Of course, then, we have Papa Zhong who just says to the same guy he told to slow down a ticket to live next door to Shao Xi? lol I mean I get his heart was in the right place (not really mad at him because he didn't exactly make that move), but SHE was trying to avoid him. lol Now she lives next door to him being tortured, and he's pushing her away which was her greatest fear.
Oh, and don't get me started on new chick running after Li Zheng like that? Geez, get a grip. Ha, ha, yes, please dedicate their song to him making him think of her. RME
Was anyone else not happy about that finger thing against the forehead? I hate it when these guys do that, and he did it AFTER he was being a smug jerk to her. I think that's why it finally got to me.
I knew there were going to be a few episodes of this coming up, and this is definitely one of them.
Can somebody tell me if I have to watch Bad Romance before watching this, or if I'm good to go even without…
No, just the opposite. I would watch it after this ends. lol People are already starting to get mad at Knock after this back and forth business, and trust me, watching that won't help or at least it didn't put him in a good light for me.
Bright saying 'I'm busy tonight' to a one night stand because he's gonna be with Farm is a…
So glad to hear someone else not feeling that relationship because clearly he sees that kid (he looks so freaking young to me in comparison to the rest of them) running after him like a puppy, and he is playing with him knowing he's gonna get hurt. I see him smirking around Farm at times, and it makes mad.
I think Korn just wanted to get out of there, and in Korn's eyes, he didn't think Dr. Creepy had any desire to touch Farm just Korn at that point, at least that's how I saw it. I think Korn was panicked more than anything in that moment as it was a shock to his system. If you've had that happen, you would know you're not in your right mind. You just have this desire to escape.
Oh, yes, that's true. Korn always looks at Knock for the next move even if he kisses him first, and when Knock said stop that's when Korn stopped. Dr. Creepy was the opposite, and Korn is a big guy, so you know Dr. Creepy was really using a lot of force. :( Still makes me upset.
Bright saying 'I'm busy tonight' to a one night stand because he's gonna be with Farm is a…
I still don't like how he mauled Korn, and how that all went down. I haven't watched Epi 8 with subs yet though as I'm sure he did apologize, but in that moment, it was disturbing to me.
I'm kind of fed up with the alcohol excuse. I used to drink people under the table (and I'm petite mind you), but I have never blacked out after drinking men under the table.
I think a lot of people use that as an excuse not only Bright but Knock with wanting to explore what he was feeling for Korn. Oh, let me drink again as he did in that one episode just to make sure. lol Oh, Knock, I see you!
I still like Mew better for Farm as a crush. I think they should've picked an actor who didn't come off so creepy in his actions. His face screams to me I'm up to no good but not in a sexy way but a way that makes me uncomfortable.
Bright saying 'I'm busy tonight' to a one night stand because he's gonna be with Farm is a…
Korn had to physically push him off of him. That's what we call attempted sexual assault in legal terms. It was a very disturbing scene to me. IF Korn hadn't had to fight him off, I would say otherwise, but he let Farm think that something went down that wasn't kosher IMHO on Korn's end.
Korn was just helping the guy to the sofa, and sorry, he mauled the heck out of him, and Korn had physically push him off not just say no but PHYSICALLY remove him.

I mean don't get me wrong I enjoy that kissing (heh), but spread the wealth a little bit. ;) Of course, I've mostly watched the BL, but when it's mixed, I see the difference in the set-up. I think they get what the draw is, and they skimp on the rest so far it seems.
Korn was just helping the guy to the sofa, and sorry, he mauled the heck out of him, and Korn had physically push him off not just say no but PHYSICALLY remove him.
