Agreed on everything you said! I thought we would finally see his "wild" personnality when they showed him covered in blood and his hair disheveled and all that at the bottom of the well but the next scene, it was like he took a shower?! Like the villain was doomed to be dirty and covered in blood during the majority of his scenes but our hero can't be seen like that for more than one scene.... I know it's not a grave matter but I found it funny lol

I thought it was pretty nice honestly ! Perfect after a heavy watch like many people in the comments said. Yes it's cliché but I think it was pretty well done. The relationship between the band members, the romance, the OST (like seriously it was amazing !), the cinematography were all great. I admit I wasn't very convinced with ep1-2 but the story eventually succeeded in drawing me in.
The only downside for me was the final ep. I think the whole kidnapping thing should have been left out to better focus on the "happy ending" between the couple. I'm not satisfied with a 10 secondes reunion in which the leads just stare at each other tearfully... Well I guess it could have been worse but I really don't understand what the writer thinks when they decide to incorporate a romance in their story (moreover a romance that takes the majority of the screen time) and conclude the relationship between the 2 characters with a lackluster and abrupt conclusion... (yes I'm very salty about this type of ending that shouldn't exist in any romance production, even if it's to give us a more "realistic" vision).
Apart from that, if you want to watch something light and sweet, with some funny moments and great relationships (and character development !) then go give this a chance! Also to be more precise, I didn't watch any other "idol" drama like Imitation and the like, the only one I watched was Dream High and I don't think we can compare the two. So maybe this drama isn't something very enjoyable/new for others but it worked pretty well for me.

I would like to know too! I hope it will be soon considering the OST of Our beloved summer was scheduled to be released a few weeks after the drama's ending...

Yes Soo ho would be alive but maybe if he didn't come back, the "prophecy" with the death of the 13 virgins would have been true then... Because at that point I'm sure the SWAT team would have killed anyone who tried to escape, even the students... Well maybe some of them would have succeeded in escaping but not all of them for sure... So with his death, he really saved them all... :'(

Right both options can be possible... But I admit I tear up if I think too much about Yeoung ro returning to the dorm after all the trauma and leaving the paper plane in memory of him... I would like to think they would take the time and respect to at least bury him in a place where he can rest but it's maybe too much to hope for considering he's just a north spy for the government :(

Another question : if Soo ho didn't came back to the dorm during ep 16, how did they plan to escape ?? Because he was the one who took care of the SWAT team... Kang moo had a rifle and Han ha a gun but I don't think it would have been enough to escape without problem... Was it like a suicide mission then ?

I just had an idea ! Considering the words you could read, maybe it was Yeoung ro that wrote it in the form of a "tribute" to Soo ho then ? She placed it herself in the fence because she remembered that it was here he picked up her paper plane, and she surely dosen't know where he is buried, if he is...

Maybe you're right and it was a paper plane that they folded together but if I remember correctly they flew it inside the attic and not outside the window... Yep all her reactions concerning Cheong San were a total mystery... I know her character doesn't solely revolve around her relationship with him but I really don't know what the writers wanted to convey when they decided to make her so indifferent and hostile towards her supposedly best friend... Also I don't really think he was mean to her when he was teasing her in the beginning... It was just drama for the sake of drama to be honest, I couldn't even feel pleased when they "kissed"

I'm glad I wasn't the only one !! I didn't watch On your wedding day (because I know the end of the story and it's too heart-wrenching for me) but it's true that I kept thinking during the whole movie "so at what point do you give up your "fake" wedding and plan on confessing your eternal love to your best friend" needless to say I was in denial until the very end and I was left disappointed xD

I had the same thought as you... I hoped that at least one of them would survive in "good condition" but they both died at the end (well the girl is maybe still alive but at what cost) I also thought that they would get to have revenge on the bullies during all that but nope... Maybe it's realistic to some extent (at least in the context of a zombie apocalypse) but I can't imagine what someone actually being bullied at school will think about this...

I agree with you ! I couldn't understand her at all. First when they are about to escape by the window (after her friend's death) she straight up tell the ML that she doesn't have anyone anymore ?! Are they not best friends since childhood ?? Does he count for nothing ? Also during the bonfire scene, ok she has the right to not return his feelings back but she acted like it was the end of the world that he confessed (how can anyone be upset about that during a zombie apocalypse lol) I liked all the other female characters tho I just couldn't warm up to her strangely

I actually loved this drama. Despite the mainly negative comments here I wanted to try because I like the main actors and it didn't disappoint me because ALL the cast did in fact an amazing job! And the chemistry between the FL and ML was simply out of this world omg. I know that many didn't like the FL (even after her "redemption") but I loved her even at the beginning of the drama. Of course she was wrong but the actress did a really great job in portraying her character, I just couldn't hate her. This was so appealing for me because of the cast: the main couple of course, the 2ML (if we can call him that), the secondary characters (the ML's family and friends, the students) I quickly became attached to all of them. The plot isn't the most realistic or intricate but I didn't get bored at all so that's a real success. Keep in mind that it's a romantic comedy so don't expect a revenge story like My Name or John Wick. It was funny and some important messages and themes were mentioned, it was really well done and provided a nice contrast. Some scenes were indeed quite touching. I saw someone in the comments say that a part of the OST reminded them of an action drama/movie and I agree. It was sometimes overly dramatic but I loved it lol. In conclusion, give this a try if you're in the mood for a romantic comedy with amazing chemistry between all the actors, plenty of fluffy and funny moments, mixed with some really poignant thematics (the pression students meet in school, the corruption rotting the school's environment, the power of family love and what it means to be a good teacher in today's society...)
