That is what she was first attracted to. Don't be fooled. Flora found his fierce tongue appealing but in the work environment. She gave him tit for. tat.

Remember she said she had admiration for him. Her admiration for him plays a bigger part than their relationship. I'm even starting to 2nd guess that MAYBE Flora doesn't even love Luke.

She admires his business demeanor and enjoys their passion. She doesn't want to share him with anyone. But she doesn't allow him to fulfill "boyfriend" duties.

it is alright if Flora doesn't love Luke. But maybe that's the disconnect. She mistook her admiration and enjoyment for love or he mistook her admiration and enjoyment for love.

it's Bias. He definitely is not being fairly judged by his actions. Maybe some pretense from the book have altered their view. They remind me of the Viki commenters who hate women. Never a good thing to say about female characters. the character could bring world peace and all they have to say is, she did it wrong. 😂

I'm not reading the book. but I definitely know he is not a red flag in the drama. He has 1.5 MAJOR flaws
He is outspoken with a steel tongue. .5 is that he is slow on understanding his mistakes or his inability to think before speaking.

He considers Flora in everything...so yeh he is far from a red flag. the man even air spanked the dog 😂 come on now 😂

When I first started ep 17 my first thought was Flora is quick to ask others for help but not Luke.

Ep 17 started with her getting help from her flat mate.

She pulls from her friends not her boyfriend.

Remember when she told Lumi about her eviction issue? That was communication between friends.

But when her boyfriend asked she told a lie. I fell.

Boyfriends and girlfriends aren't too far from carrying parents responsibility in a different lane. protection

your loved ones want to protect you. when you don't give them a chance or make them privy to your pain and trouble they can easily feel dejected or like a nonfactor.

I totally get Luke's frustration and it took a moment for him to gather his thoughts.

As a parent IRL if my child comes into danger and doesn't tell me and I find out late. I'm going to be scared, upset that it happened and mad that I was the last to find out, regretful that I couldn't protect or comfort at the time.

Same as a bf, gf, husband or wife.

Those are natural responses.
Flora had a whole conversation with Luke right after it happened. She flew home to him and laid in bed with him all cuddled up and did not say a word about what happened to her.

Luke is her boyfriend. For him to find out last and in the manner he did - not from her but from a corporate email. That is a blow that is hard to take.

Flora's excuse to not tell was discounted after she sent a public email.

Because now everyone including Luke knows. so she didn't save him from any extra stress she just delayed the info causing him more stress.

This is an interesting drama because these communication gaps happen all the time in real life.

Because people are flawed. We always can't get it right.

Most of the stress we experience is either something we created or something we accept. mentally and emotionally we are the masters of our own canvas but we don't always paint a pretty picture.

This scene had me in tears because she needed a boyfriend not correction at the time.

And she's getting what she deserves delayed - comfort.

They are growing yet we are still expecting a breakup. This is wild.

ML - obviously wanted to be a part of the judicial system prior to becoming an actor. 😂
