Hmmm...I am really unsure about this...but it guess it was okayish overall...
That is my reaction to the series as well. OK.

Not good, not bad, but just OK.

Well, that was it. I somehow liked it, otherwise I wouldn't have watched it completely. The acting was pretty…
I thought it was OK, but like you said:

"𝘐𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨."

"𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘹𝘪𝘮𝘶𝘮 6 𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘴."

👍👍👍

I don't know if it is just me, but lots of Thai BL series seem to be suffering from this problem this past year. They stretch what could have been a nice story out about 4-5 episodes longer than it should have been. Then the editing and directing seem to suffer from trying to stretch things to fill in the time.

It is either that, or the writing or whatever stories they are choosing are not as good quality as they were a few years ago.

It was great up to around episode 8. After that, it was excruciating to watch with lots of explanation in the…
"𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘪, 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘭𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨?"

That about perfectly describes his character. That is what they wrote in the script apparently.

It was a bit annoying and over the top. Maybe once in the show would have been fine, but to do that every time he talked was annoying.

Title 1000 Years Old Spoiler
Overall it's ok. There's one thing that annoyed me personally. Pun lived continuously for 920 years. During his…
That was a bit odd. Like you said, never rode a train? They have been around for 100 years or more (depending upon where you live). Computers have been fairly common for 3 decades or so, and cellphones for over 10 years. But Pun never had the chance to try any of that, or other things?

I maybe can see that he never got a facebook or whatever social media, I don't have any of those myself, but I know of them, and how they work.

So did he just sit in his room all day long? Stalk little boys at the playground and offer them ice cream cones?

can the picture be more saturated?
I thought it was a watercolor painting at first, but he looks just like this on 1000 years old series!

Title For Him
It started with a semblance of a story but quickly descends into product placements interspersed with listless…
The (almost) porn scenes were one of the better things about this. 😁 (Except the foot fetish scenes, you could keep those)

But I agree, the plot was a bit thin in spots, but that could have been overlooked if other aspects of this series were better. I think it is poor directing and uneven editing that really wrecked this series. You could see how one episode was full length, and another was like 20 minutes long. It was very obvious scenes were cut out in places. The storyline could have been fixed with better editing decisions or a better director.

It isn't the worst Thai BL I have ever watched, and not even the worst thing I have watched this year (Pit Babe gets worst, at least for now) but it sure wasn't that good either. I feel sorry for the actors who had to put their name and face on this.

Title For Him
I started this series yesterday and am currently starting episode 8. Since I started, I've learned of some issues…
The editing is very inconsistent, like you mention. The middle episodes are so short with tons of behind the scenes, I think more BTS than actual content on a couple episodes.

Then the last episode runs right up to the last 5 seconds with barely even time for the end credits.

So why didn't they: (a) make this only ten episodes instead of 12? (b) spread the content out better? (c) not cut so much they had to had to add so much BTS?

Title To Be Continued Spoiler
Omg nothing could have prepared me for the way we instantly just forgive and forget about what happened 10 yrs…
I think they were just a couple of dumb kids who didn't know how to talk or express their emotions. One thing lead to another, and they broke up.

In case you haven't noticed, many people break up for very petty reasons. They even divorce over stupid crap, like not putting the laundry in a basket, or other stupid reasons.

So to me, a couple of high school aged kids having a fight and breaking up like this isn't an unreasonable plot point.

"however I thought Achi was a bit too smug and seemingly guilt-free in the first ep."

After watching the whole series, I kinda think that this is just how he deals with life and problems in general. He tries to be cute and smile his way out of troubles. Others might cry, or pout, or give the silent treatment, but not Achi.

This was a nice series, and I agree it probably had a different target audience than other BL series. It was not at all pushy or trying to force an agenda, it was just fluffy and sweet, and showed some real life issues that *any* person who has been in a relationship should be able to identify with.

I wanted more of the last 3 episodes. If they could have captured that in the first couple episodes, things would have been nearly perfect.

I really enjoyed this series as a whole though.

They probably don't want to incur the wrath of the staunch fans. I find that that there's basically three types…
I don't think you needed a spoiler for that. And I agree with what you wrote. 🙂

I would add that some of us are careful about what we put on our lists, and what we watch. I won't watch certain things or even add them to my list if I think I would drop a series. I think I have only dropped a couple series in the years I have been on here, and it pretty rare for me to hate something after I started it.

I skim a few of the comments for the series, and study the description and tags to get a feel for what is in the series. I don't necessarily not watch something if the comments are negative, I am more looking for things like "the captions stopped after episode 5" and maybe other certain issues F̶r̶a̶n̶k̶'s̶ b̶a̶d̶ w̶i̶g̶ a̶n̶d̶ o̶n̶l̶y̶ w̶a̶n̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ c̶a̶k̶e̶ t̶o̶ e̶a̶t̶?̶ H̶i̶g̶h̶-̶f̶i̶v̶e̶ b̶y̶ t̶h̶e̶ B̶L̶ l̶e̶a̶d̶s̶ i̶n̶ t̶h̶e̶ f̶i̶n̶a̶l̶ e̶p̶i̶s̶o̶d̶e̶ i̶n̶s̶t̶e̶a̶d̶ o̶f̶ a̶ k̶i̶s̶s̶? like a series that ended up being a straight guy Bromance instead of a BL series as indicators that I probably would not want to watch something.

Not every BL series gets an automatic add to my list, which I think some people do for other types of series, or for certain actors/actresses. I bet there is a lot of that in K-drama.

I took her to be the ultimate helicopter mom who never let Fire do, say, or experience anything on his own. She had his life planned right down to the minute, and when it wasn't her perfect version of his life, she had a meltdown.

I find it ironic that a show that is based on the fact that the main lead doesn't see the value in himself because…
I think your first paragraph is a good take on this series. It was a bit over the top in places, but I know people in real life similar to Jade.

I sorta agree with the side couple thoughts, but despite the weird leadup that scene was pretty hot! Good thing I didn't have my smart watch on , or it would have been going off like Jade's watch.

The Saint-Zee love scenes in Why RU were pretty racy, and these were at least as good. Domundi (or the actors) aren't shy about intimacy in their shows. These guys sure are comfortable with each other, I am not sure how that being friends in real life doesn't make it a bit weird. You would have to go from kissing your best friend (with tongue) to just hanging out as buddies? I am not sure I could do that. I would probably develop feelings of some type...

Title Last Twilight Spoiler
Even though I liked the ending and not against Day regaining his sightThe double time skips were so rushed especially…
Your post probably should be marked spoiler.

That said, those time skips were a bit unnecessary. I don't think they added anything to the story.

My brief version of what should have been the last 2 episodes.

EP11: They fight and break up. Maybe Mhok is gone for a few months to train as a chef in Hawaii, and that is how Day realizes he made a mistake. They could even be talking/texting as friends on occasion, not a one-sided complete block because our feelings were bruised. Like adults, they eventually come to their senses and talk things through. During that time in between breakup and makeup, Day matures enough to be in a relationship. Mhok comes back to Thailand.

Ep12: The wedding still happens, maybe a year into the future. Day owns the bookstore, and is more independent, but he is still blind. Mhok has moved back and due to his terrific skills now works as a chef under Day/Night's Mom. He will take over the family business if he continues to succeed. Because he is part of the family, he now can take care of Day financially. At Night's wedding, Mhok/Day are so gaga in love they stand up and promise on stage to be together forever. On impulse, they leave the wedding, and take a Honeymoon trip back to the mountain. This time the sun is shining, and Day can feel the warmth of the sun.

The end.
